honestly my biggest complaint with this episode was how no one asked if Soong/Teena/Jump were okay after the shit they went through in episode 12 :’) like that was the one part of the show I haven’t been able to stomach, but they totally just glossed over it after the fact :( the Playboyys deserve therapy too lol
I have fantastic news for you (absolutely not), the writers of CP and NB were announced earlier today as writers…
I’m so sorry 😭 it was also the one I was most excited for, a naive part of me wants to remain optimistic but at this point… we’re doomed unfortunately. Although MGB isn’t based off a novel as far as I can tell, so maybe just maybe the writers will pull through with an original concept? But I seriously worry if they’ll have the ability to make rich lore for the vampires or if it’s going to be a very superficial “it is what it is” kind of show 😐
Watching this Dangerous Romance, Our Story and this finale within 24 hours has convinced me that the BL gods have…

I’m really intrigued by the conversation Kanghan had at dinner with his family– I was expecting this show to go in the direction of an uncaring/mean father (similar to Chopper’s dad in Never Let Me Go), who has too high expectations of their sons and want them to focus on school instead of socializing. Instead, it looks like the trope is being completely inverted, with Kanghan’s dad telling him to focus less on being school president and just enjoy being in school with friends. But Kanghan was just as disappointed hearing this from his father as most kids are when their parents tell them to stop socializing and focus on school. I’m curious to see how their relationship is shown over the rest of the show! Maybe the grandmother is taking the role of “my grandson has to be the best at everything”, so Kanghan’s dad saying he doesn’t care that much about being successful is being interpreted by Kanghan as his dad not caring?
