they are actually defining the complexities of human behaviour , I mean its so cool in this situation as this very drama is depicting the very same thing in its story ^.^(like I feel this drama is made so well like either u will love it or u will hate it, no middle ground and its bound to create debates )

that's a brilliant observation ^.^ I feel humans are selfish , complex and can be a mess but at the same time they are capable of performing good deeds and they do perform good deeds but only performing a single deed for a reward won't make them virtuous rather virtue lies in intentions and consistency overtime . And the very capacity to perform good deeds is threshold for humanity even if humans are flawed and that's what gumiho need to do to be a human (to have humanity)

Everybody , what you are feeling in this comment section - love , hate, frustration is completely normal. Humans see and feel differently, and that's natural . Some of us notice certain things, some of us miss them like eunho emotional blind spot for Kang Si Yeol . This drama actually depicts human complexities , perception and emotions which currently comment section is showing ^.^ and that's quite realistic as either u will really like the drama or will dislike it (nothing in the middle)
While the story is labelled a rom-com(fantasy) , sure there are light and funny moments but I feel this drama explores more about (Tiny spoilers) fate(like ml wants to change fate but gumiho and world has other limitations) , guilt(many characters are carrying guilt in different shades in this drama) , vulnerabilty (gumiho is strong but has cracks in her personality ) and subtle ways humans misjudge or overlook each other.(like gumiho judging entire human race but overlooks ml )^.^ Variety of raw human emotions with complexities.
This drama is choosing to give meaning rather than a clean skate , well paced story. And watching flawed characters feels more relatable (this is not a comfort watch but a different form of expression altogether which is definitely working for me ^.^ )

About some characters gumiho as written is supposed to be judging humans and criticise them for what they are, so her actions in the story fit perfectly well ml is not dumb , he is acting like normal human being in admits of fantasy. and about fl and ml dyanamic -most fictional characters fall in love instantly or do selfless acts immediately for sake of plot but real people think about themselves first(majority ones) hesitate and then take risks .
About tone of the drama its not warm and that's what color gradient is showing like every character stuck in their emotions , no-one is free. Well there are more reasons other than all this that makes this drama a intriguing watch^.^ (this drama is definitely divisive so different opinions make so much sense that I realised later lol)
I m enjoying the drama so far and the ost is really amazing . The cliffhanger at the end of 4th episode seriously made me want to know more but guess I have to wait ^-^

episode 3 impressions the story is unfolding at a great pace now. I knew before starting this drama that watching a gumiho would be fun but this gumiho in particular who do not do even small goods and not major bad deeds is more fun , I love how cool her character is written like she does things as if she is not scared of anyone . I thought this will be pure comedy like I felt the friends were awesome , gumiho doing everything and anything she loves . but now I feel they are adding depth to the story like now a negative character is introduced . And him saying
tiny spoiler he says something like hunters don't hunt because of personal grudge I mean wow that's a truth and the whole episode concluding into saying that world works on balance and that's how fair the world is, quite an argument .
love how interaction of ml and fl is progressing . loving the story more than I thought
After seeing her work I feel like just cast her as a regular member of some variety show already ^.^like what is lacking lol. Really want to see her out there .
I hope this drama gets more recognition. It was refreshing to watch a drama where characters made sensible choices instead of creating chaos for the sake of drama. I hope I get to see more of such dramas ,its really difficult to get over it
