Personally, I think they did!! Their relationship was definitely NOT platonic and it's slightly hinted at the very end and I'm glad its that way because it would have taken away from the main plot otherwise!

she's just majorly annoyed at the fact that someone who claims that she could be her birth mother wants to do a DNA test without even meeting her - especially after Hana feels like she's been abandoned by her so like after all these years why would a DNA result need to confirm she's her mother before even reuniting with her

I think she's still 3/4ths korean though because (wild guess and also speculation) I think we're told somewhere that her mother is the one who's 50/50 mixed (Korean-American i'm guessing) so for being 3/4ths korean she looks pretty suitable objectively
