yes, the plot kinda steered into the very clichéd, predictable storyline after the first three episode but I don’t think it’s bad enough to warrant a 1/2 star rating tbh y’all are overreacting a bit too much tbh… It was also sorta unrealistic (comes with the genre ig) wherein by the last episode, Rian who was painted as the morally grey attention-deprived rich dude just automatically now feels guilt and turns himself in??
Also the end credit scene was sorta confusing to interpret (clever tactic for a cliffhanger tbf) but I assumed it was Jaehyeok(?) Jaeyi’s brother who was murdered and Kang Ha who sent the text to Rian? Makes no sense whatsoever but it’s literally ASKING for a season 2 at this point

That’s odd, I thought Kang Ha was the one who sent Rian the message that said “you look shocked, Kim Rian” because it shows him texting, and I’d assumed that the murdered guy was Jaehyeok? Jaeyi’s step brother?

quite enjoyed it for what it was worth, a bit gruesome for absolutely no reason at times but the messages were crystal clear: the ones at the top will automatically rule this system that they’ve created, no matter how this hierarchy was made in the first place. The details with the time being awarded for entertaining the “audience” was very interesting because isn’t that literally us? watching 8 people fight each other for money and rank? for sheer entertainment? I feel that the psychopathic character plot device was a bit needed though subtly forced (ntm on woohee she absolutely ATE that) but overall quite well depicted icl
this girl just continues to absolutely PISS me off…… like how does she not know what boundary not to cross???? Also her not wanting Suji to proclaim that they’re sisters is absolutely wild but also is it really a makjang if all the problems get solved this early on LMFAO… also the family literally LEECHING off Suji? Not to mention her Step-mother and her obsession with her real daughter… Hyunsung is also infuriating me more and more as the episodes pass like I DO NOT LIKE THIS MAN… why is he so clingy in the worst way possible….

ever since the show was even announced I've seen people going "oh there were better contenders for ml" and "im concerned for this show bc minhyun is the ml" LIKE PLEASE... and also literally exactly what you said he's following the script to a tee like he makes the role so much more legit because he does so 😭😭
