I have so much to say but also don't know what to say. Tbh The Early Spring is overrated, the main couple fights every 3 episodes and breaks up every 4. They don't know how to communicate and when they do one of them fucks it up a day later. It's genuinely the same thing over and over again until their 'big' breakup which lasted about like 1.5 episodes and then they fuck and make up. One thing that really annoyed me is that Luan Nian/Luke's actions are pardoned because he is attractive, which should not be a valid point. People saying that if someone looked at them like Luan Nian did to Sang Zhitao/Flora they would stay for 6 years too is quite strange. I also don't like how SOME (some okay) people say that Sang Zhitao is some green flag which is not true because she also has flaws in the relationship although she is better than Luan Nian. Of course having flaws is not a bad thing and adds realism to their relationship but sometimes it gets to a point. I feel like they hide the bad story and toxic relationship under the intimacy and sexual-ness of the drama. Also why are people romanticising their toxic relationship?? However on the other hand the actors were well cast and I personally quite like the music/OST. The actors were well chosen and played their roles well but I don't like how they killed off Sun Yuanzhu. Sun Qian and Jing Boran have great chemistry with each other and their acting doesn't want to make you scrunch up your face. Overall I think that there are definitely a lot more dramas that deserve the hype that The Early Spring gained and more dramas that are worth your time watching.
