Yeah, I'm angry at her and some of her ways of doing things, but I do not hate her. I'm sure there will be character development.

While watching ep 6, I thought that HJL also had some "good intentions" for him (apart from doing it for herself), like she may not want him to suffer from the heartbreak. But she was stupid for blindly believe her senior brother and didn't even check the medicine and its side effects.

Now that I have watched until ep 10 and seen what RY had been going through, I suddenly got angry with HJL again. She really ruined a good guy's future, although unintentionally.

My rant for EP 9-10.

This is too sad... She left him for 4 years and he was waiting and looking for her the whole time. He loves her too much. TT TT

It pisses me off how she never finds her senior brother's medicine suspicious, even for a bit. She still asks him for help with the cure. After seeing RY's conditions and after 4 years, she should have realized already that there is something wrong with her senior brother.

I don't like her older brother (HQT)'s attitude towards RY. He looks down on him and gets unnecessary violent at times.

I have MangoTV VIP because I want to watch some of their variety shows, but I may not renew after this month.

For this drama, the subs were fine for the first episode I think. But it went downhill quickly in the following episodes. Even He Jiu Ling's name is translated into something nonsensical! I tried English & my native language (Thai) subs and both are barely comprehensible.

It's really a pity though. They have several good/interesting dramas, but the subs are too unbearable. Hope they can improve soon!

I envy everyone who can watch with good subs on Viki (it's not available for my region).
For now, I will have to put up with MangoTV subs. It's really challenging to make some sense of their subs. LOL

Minghao and Cheng Xiao. Hahaha.

Maybe he just read a lots of books...

From this scriptwriter's list of works, I have only watched "A Girl Like Me" which didn't impress me (I couldn't finish it till this day despite my love for Hou Minghao) and only heard negative feedback for "Choice Husband".

Really, the waiting is killing me. I shouldn't have started watching this so early. TT TT

I prefer to think that he is just that "knowledgeable". LOL

Finally managed to finish this one, solely because of Shangguan Qui Yue.
This should be the only drama I like only 1 character. The main leads' chemistry is great (it's kinda sexy when they keep calling each other Gege & Meimei LOL). But Chun Hua is too annoying I want to smack her on the head sometimes. Xiao Bai, his squad and the rest of the characters are so hypocritical throughout the story. They keep blaming others for their own greed and wrongdoings. It really pisses me off!

EP. 6-8 made me cry so much. Rong Yu is too pitiful. I hope he gets well soon.
From the previews, they will be separated again... TT TT

I would love to see Wang Hedi and Zhao Jinmai paired up in a drama. If not for this production, then there will be another one. I believe it will happen sooner or later ^^

I'm so happy with my Li Rong and Pei Wenxuan. The height difference is hella cute!!
Hope the script is as good as the novel

I'm liking all of their costumes and styling so far.
HMH's hair is definitely better than the first day of filming. He is so good he nails that demon look with that cute & baby face of his! >///<

It's a nice change and I think it looks good on her.

The FL is already spoiled A LOT by her family. Now, I can see the ML being the one spoiling her the most ^^

Already watched up to ep6, I'm liking it so far. It's just MangoTV subs give me a headache as always LOL
The FL is childish and even rude sometimes. The ML is far from being "cold". He is actually very gentle and considerate. I love his character.
