Yeah, especially historical Asian series. Most historical western wlw shows focus on either on world war II or we get 18th/17th century english period romance. It's nice that we get to see more Thai historical series with sapphic representation.
I think it's so cool how Thai GL is becoming more diverse now and expanding beyond lakorns and romantic dramas. Loyal Pin is historical, Reverse 4 You is sci-fi and Petrichor is detective/true crime. Please don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the traditional soap opera like series too but I've been wanting to watch other genres with GL. Now, we are getting true crime series which will be so exciting ! For the first time, there will be main lesbian lead detective and forensic scientist. Thailand is literally beating ever single country when it comes to wlw shows not just in quantity but quality. I don't think I'm going to be watching live action western shows anymore after this. I feel so incredibly happy to say that we finally reached a point where there is a GL series for everyone. I am positive this series is going to break records in everything.
I just know this show is going to be my next hyperfixation and my new favorite GL. I've always been drawn more to shows with action, thriller and true crime. I can't wait to watch this series soon.
The only good thing is the series is not a flop unlike sml and mmdiy
Ever single episode part for those shows got over 600k atleast and some got even more than a million views though...they don't seem like flops to me no offense...
