I get what you are saying but I think at this point, this is happening all because everyone on the cast is ignoring this issue. No one, is actually addressing people's concerns. The explanation you are mentioning about was no offense along the lines of just "trust me". It felt like a excuse to me personally. Before I say anything about my opinions, I'd like to mention that I'm cis not transgender. I ended up forming a similar conclusion after viewing the trailer as well. I personally, also felt like the writing was suggesting that the character was presenting himself as a women for revenge and he was also doing to trick other people like a disguise. This made me uncomfortable. Also, the way they showed Apo doing dilation felt also insensitive to me. It's just something done for medical treatment but they made it look so scary with all the lighting and positioning. Furthermore, the writer on twitter is just blocking everyone for respectfully communicating their concerns. Also, the writer is talking about how this gl series will have a man as the lead. It feels weird because Film's role in the series feels like a side role rather than a main one. Lastly, GMMTV has a serious transphobia issue in their company. Like the whole culture there is just messed up. I have no doubt, they are going to misrepresent how transitioning works to an audience of non queer people. This what seriously worries me because this series could become dangerous and harmful for transwomen in thailand.

Transgender people have spoken out and they've said they are uncomfortable the way the character's transitioning was being represented in this pilot. This series is pushing harmful narratives and stereotypes about transitioning. These aren't mine words, it's what transgender people have been saying. I know we all love Namtan and Film and want them to have a new series but this series isn't it. As sapphics we should demand better representation that is uplifting for transwomen too.
