When I started criticizing and responding to their comments, then people started acting homophobic towards me. Instead of discussing the topic on hand, it started spiraling in a situation where it started diverging into my personal life. Honestly, I'm sensitive when it comes to homophobia. I deal with it alot in real life and I treat the internet as my own safe space. So yeah, I admittedly got defensive. Regardless, I never once directly referenced or insulted anyone who worked on this project. I wrote this detailed comment a few days later because I just wanted to explain my perspective.
