It's a spinoff of the movie freaky friday. It's about family members that get body swapped and the only way to undo the body swap is for them to get along and understand each other.
Can't stop thinking about the final scene in ep 8. The cliffhanger is driving me crazy. 😠Why does wetv have to edge us so much. Always the kiss scenes get cut midway from the episodes and teasers.
I think I have found a new favorite series. Everything from the music, production, pacing, storyline and romance is top notch. I can't wait for the next episode to come ! I'm absolutely in love with Linn. I need Linn and Praew to become an official pairing and get their own series.
So you're refusing to watch a show because one of the actresses, who was born in, raised and lived the majority…
Most people that say they are from there consider themselves Zionists. It's the truth honestly. I knew her background before the series aired but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to publicly post assumptions. I also was giving her the benefit of the doubt. Despite feeling uneasy. Now, I'm saying something after reading her official response on twitter. People have been asking her to say whether she supports Palestine or not. Her response was neutral and she used the word geopolitics instead of genocide. I am disappointed to say the least. I don't want to support anyone who is neutral on genocide.
Majority of the public from that "country" supports genocide. Nearly everyone there is also involved in the military since it's mandatory. So, it's not odd to be skeptical about someone who considers themselves from that country. People gave her the benefit of the doubt and asked her to clarify her viewpoint. She gave a neutral response and reduced everything to geopolitics. She didn't even say anything about genocide.
I badly wanted to watch this series but now I feel incredibly uncomfortable that I don't think I'll ever be able to watch this. It's a shame because the trailer looks so good. Never in my life did I think gl would become so diverse that we get isrealis as the main lead. Yes, I know how thai's industry works and that actors and actresses can't discuss certain topics. However, after claiming to belong to that "certain country", you can't be neutral to the atrocities committed.
Not very related, but doesn't your religion punish homosexuality with death? Or it's just in some countries where…
I didn't ask you to stalk me. This is like a few scrolls on this page. I'm sorry, I may have misread your intentions. I thought you were being homophobic to me honestly. Like rubbing salt on the wound repeatedly by asking those questions. I didn't realize you were asking genuine questions. This whole topic I'll admit, I'm not exactly comfortable discussing in a public comment section. If you want to DM I'm okay with it. I just don't want to center the main conversation around myself cause it's kind of off topic and also again it's kind of like opening up about something that connects with a lot of personal insecurities I have. I don't hate Korea and I'm talking about big companies being insensitive. I consume Korean media too. It's just something I've said out frustration. If I didn't care about Korea, then I wouldn't have been here commenting in the first place. I'm not screaming, I'm just frustrated. In a broader sense, it's hard to be cool about something that's been continuously happening. These companies don't care. This isn't the first orientalist series from them. Recently, there's been another controversy too. I commented this comment days ago, and got a few weird responses. I'm not camping in this comment section. I haven't checked in so long but I'm getting notifications. If it's too many responses I'll just delete at this point. I'm emotionally exhausted and I don't have the energy for this either. Sure, good night.

Are you capable of reading the room ? Scroll down to like 10 days ago. I saw a bunch of people making nasty comments about me and talking about me even though I wasn't part of the conversation. All because of profile picture and the dramas I watch. I never brought my sexuality into the conversation in the first place. I just got insulted to my face and people are implying I'm not a "real" muslim. Then, there is islamphobia that is rampant here in the comments. So, yeah sorry if I get mean about it. I should just tolerate everything rude being said to me. There's no need to make backhanded comments like the downside of strong faith and dealing with harassment from believers. Right here, I'm dealing with homophobia from non believers. You can see for yourself. No one is asking you to follow what's in the Quran. I frankly don't care what you believe. You don't have to sit down and study our religion unless you want to. All we ask is you respect our beliefs. How hard is that ? Don't improperly reference our religion. Also, this is Korea we are talking about. Give them inch and they will take it a mile when is comes to being insensitive. I don't want to see a new popular sexy iblis trope.
"It's like if Lucifer was portrayed as love interest that is hiding his real identity from the female lead…
I'm sorry, I now realize I was being a bit harsh. For the past week, I was getting frustrated at people who were broadly speaking on my behalf and for all the people who got offended. Acting as if we were exaggerating and trying to trivialize our feelings and point of view. When I started criticizing and responding to their comments, then people started acting homophobic towards me. Instead of discussing the topic on hand, it started spiraling in a situation where it started diverging into my personal life. Honestly, I'm sensitive when it comes to homophobia. I deal with it alot in real life and I treat the internet as my own safe space. So yeah, I admittedly got defensive. Regardless, I never once directly referenced or insulted anyone who worked on this project. I wrote this detailed comment a few days later because I just wanted to explain my perspective.

There's something called time and place. This is a discussion regarding a drama not about my personal life. After getting homophobic weird comments, I'm honestly not in the mood right now to debate my sexuality. I already deal with enough homophobia in real life as it is. But I'll answer this. You might think it's a clash but I don't see it that way. I don't see myself as a flaw. I think God made me this way and I'm not going to be ashamed or hide who I am. I hope this answers your question.

Look, you come from a christian upbringing and I'm muslim. It looks like we different perspectives on what is offensive because of different religions. I'm speaking on my point of view and clearly I'm not alone. Since, I've seen other muslims agree with me. I also am calling this series out for racism too so it's not just religion. I've only engaged in the comment section for like a few days and moved on but apparently I'm getting recent replies so I'm responding. Aladdin is a racist movie and even Disney has acknowledged this. There is a warning before the movie plays. If you want racist tropes to thrive just say your racist and move on.

Idc if there is a western show like this that already exists. It doesn't reference my religion so why would I speak on it. In this situation, the series we are talking about uses the name Iblis which is arabic and clearly references Islam. In our religion, we consider it blasphemous to praise and glorify a creature that leads people into hell for eternity.
Lol! You have made soo many negative comments about this drama when you are a yuri and GL lover. Be glad that…
Koreaboos like you are crazy. I get it, you dick ride anything with your faves face slapped on it. Critical thinking doesn't exist for people like you. However, queer religious people exist and will forever exist. We won't let people like you disrespect us, be homophobic and think you can intimidate us from speaking our perspective.
