Also, you would have to read the entire passage or surah. That has the whole story. This is just an excerpt. It also noted that Iblis asked god for one wish after committing the sin of not bowing to Adam. Instead of repentance, he choose for the wish to misguide humans so they suffer the same fate as him. He was granted his wish and has the permission to misguide Muslims and humankind until the day of judgement. Our religion views humans as the best creatures of all creatures. That are given free will as test. All humans are naturally good but it's Iblis that tries to corrupt them. Also, Iblis is the reason humans got kicked out of heaven. Iblis got kicked out because of his sin but as revenge he didn't want humans to stay in heaven. That's why he tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. As punishment, all humans are now on Earth. I agree with everything you are saying. I gave up a long time ago trying to educate people. It feels like arguing with a brick wall. I literally lost my temper and got so frustrated. The Islamophobia here in the comments is insane. Everyone who called out this series when the teasers came out was right. I don't feel guilty for what I said about this series a few weeks ago.
