Chet is so odd. If you want a relationship with your daughter you need to talk to her directly and treat her as a person not an object. He's so dense that he doesn't realize that Anueng never cared about having a car or owning luxury goods.
Even though I was expecting the Grandma to be old fashioned, I felt hurt when she said that she would be disappointed if Anueng dated a girl. However, I do have to say that the Grandma gave solid advice when she said that Anueng should graduate first before focusing on dating.
The grandma makes me so mad. Chet is the one who got her daughter pregnant and then ran away without taking any responsibility. Yet, she trusts Chet over Anueng's judgement. She's never met Yui in person but comes up with all these negative assumptions. Atleast, meet Yui first before saying anything !
I feel awful about the whole situation since both Anueng and Nueng perspectives are valid. Anueng wants their relationship to be in the open and be able to call Nueng her girlfriend publicly. Anueng, is right when she says that Chet didn't raise her so he has no right to comment over who she dates. Nueng obviously has more experience and considering her past she wants to protect Anueng by keeping their relationship a secret. She wants Nueng to still feel safe and happy around her family.
It's feels weird seeing Anueng have a different grandma. It's cause the previous actresses and the current actresses don't look alike, I have to remind myself it's the same character.
I just finished the finale and I feel so incredibly emotional right now. I'm going to write a review of the series on my letterboxd in a bit. That is once I can stop crying and can actually type. It's been an amazing experience watching the show with everyone. I'm going to miss camping on here and waiting for the next episodes to drop every week. 23.5 fridays will always have a special place in my heart forever. Thank you so much to the team, crew and the cast for making this show possible and introducing us to these wonderful characters. I speak for everyone when I say that we love this series so much. Lastly, I just wanted to say that Milklove you were the best Ongsassun I could ever wish for and I can't wait to see all your upcoming projects soon. ❤️
I've never seen the original show but I'm watching the side series because it has a sapphic storyline. After watching the first episode, I found all the characters very charming and I'm now really excited to see next week's episode.
Omg, that kid gave his poor mom such a scare and at the end he was like "I'm sorry for not eavesdropping until the end". I burst out laughing the way he was so shameless about his misunderstanding and smoothly walks away saying he has to go to class.
I feel like Wan is head over heels in love with Kim but doesn't know how to express her feelings. Hopefully everything will get sorted out next week and there won't be anymore misunderstandings.
