perfect! I found a post on twitter that said it meant 'delicate'. I googled the Chinese word for delicate with no success! But i am glad it has meaning! Love Chinese nicknames. PYHOMS had 'Momo'.

What does Niaoniao nickname mean? Or is it just meant to be a cute sounding name?
Also, what does 'Rourou' mean? This was what LBY read from the broken jade pendant. She says 'What's Rourou? It is Niaoniao!' :)

In the CSS's meltdown scene, I love how she cannot look into LBY's eyes when she lies she cried because she misses her home! I am going to say it again this director has taken this series to next level! I pray he gets to direct more romantic dramas.

I m also waiting for her to find out that mom has always loved her even though she could never express it. I want to see if there is will be such a scene!

I love how the lead actors and also the supporting cast never overact! It is perfection! No one goes overboard. And this director knows what we want! Please Bu Yi's wine drinking shot was the best execution of the 'female gaze' of late! Go Niaoniao!

Ah! Hope we get to see the united family in the finale!

I am currently on ep 15. Could someone pls help me understand the relation between Gu Qian Fan, To be Prime minister Xiao and Xiao Wei?

Gu Qian Fan is Xiao's biological son, but adopted by his maternal uncle? And Xiao Wei is Xiao's another son?

How is it possible that people are unaware of such a high profile person's children? Wouldn't the family records be clear enough?

Considering this writer worked on Be Melodramatic and the director on Deep Rooted Tree, this series was a let down.
