WOAH. THE FIRST EPISODE WAS SO INTRIGUING!! I could definitely see something like this being a hit in America, but with Korean society, I can definitely see this being a bit controversial. Either way, super amazing start to the series! I can’t wait to watch more.

i can’t remember what episode - but there was a scene where he was at hospital there was a sign that i could’ve sworn said “eun dan-oh”

i don’t really think i even want to bother with this drama. from the clips i have seen, the drama strays way too far away from the source material, and i understand that adaptations aren’t perfect (nor do they have to be), but right off the bat with the first episode, they already made a huge change to the story, which will affect the plot. they’re also probably going to completely change the love interest for jugyeong in the drama. :/ i think the best thing to do when going into a kdrama that has been adapted from something is to not read the source material first! definitely disappointed.

Getting boring... probably won’t finish.

i honestly don't know if this will live up to the original :( i didn't know this remake was a thing until recently... debating watching it since the original holds a special place in my heart. i finished it on an airplane, and i started bawling when it ended lol
