Just finished watching the ending and damn NEED SEASON 2 OF IT!! I know it might not be possible, but if the writer can make another solid case like this then they should make another one
A low budget & underated at first but due to word of mouth it can attracts the viewers. And MDL rating on this drama isn't giving any justice 8.2 (currently) should've been higher imo. Hidden gem drama of first half 2021
I wasn't expecting this drama much before the premiere. But damn, this is such an entertainment romcom drama! The chemistry of 2 main characters are not that toxic clingy (so far)
Ryan Ding is having streaks. Last year he played in 2 dramas that are popular. This one might be bringing him popularity on 2021
Some people are not fond of Estger Yu's voice but her voice is perfect for her role in this drama. Esp the ep 13, without her voice, it might not be a super funny scene
This is truly a hidden gem in Cdramaland! I know it might have low budget and not so wow line up casts but the story is convincing. The problem with crime dramas are sometimes the story don't make sense at all. Here the story is a well written one (so far until ep 12) the progress is quite fast as well
Allen Ren & Xing Fei are both good actors, esp Allen Ren. I first watched him on Under The Power and got goosebumps with his acting skill, I only need 3 days to finish watching all episodes. While Xing Fei always has good chemistry with his co actors (PYHOMS & MLH are examples) and this one as well!
Despite all the modern romcom Cdramas plot cliche, this quite enjoyable to watch for a light drama. And don't forget the OSTs! The songs that have been on this drama are all good
Can't believe it'll end next Saturday :( the potrayal of Liang Chen & Lu Jing's relationship is might be found in real life. They potray the problems that might be find in older woman-younger man couple, but they do resolve their problems quite healthily. Not too fussy or clingy. At least they trying their best to match up to their significant's others in every way
I used to hate Ding Jia Yun's character but he looks quite pity. And turns out (up to ep 24) he knows his boundary and knows how to stop. I kinda hate 2nd characters who tried to do 1001 things to snatch their crushes when the MCs are already into relationship
So far so good. Glad to see such a heartwarming drama about younger & older generations realtionship. The stories are also so relateable. I've only seen 4eps only but if it keeps consistecy of the drama, pretty sure it'll be a high quality drama
Watched up to ep 12 and it's quite an interesting drama! The only thing that I hate is that old guy Ding Jia Yun that seems like a freak. Not because he's older but somehow his character is annoying enough as 2nd lead
Hate it when we all realized it aired on Mango (the uncertainty of subs) but turns out Netflix has bought the license of this drama. Sadly no confirmed release date on Netflix, so we'll have to keep waiting and waiting
Damn, it has ended why 40 eps feels not enough. We need S2 with all same casts! It ended well perfectly but well, we of course want to see more bit of it. Bai Jing Ting as Capt. Xing is perfect as it should be
Bai Jing Ting and Janice Wu's upcoming slice of life drama "Octogenarians and the 90s" is rumored to broadcast…
BJT is on roll now, esp internationally he's getting famous now. So a new drama release right after YAMH will escalate his popularity now. Too bad for Janice Wu, but I'm sure she'll be back on track ASAP esp if this their upcoming drama would be popular
Bai Jing Ting and Janice Wu's upcoming slice of life drama "Octogenarians and the 90s" is rumored to broadcast…
OMG BJT is definetely on roll now all his dramas just keep coming non stop ? I just saw photoshoot of BJT for the promotion of Octogenarians and the 90s so the rumored date might be real
I thought Janice Wu's last month news would effect the drama but I think it'll safely aired
Can't believe that they left the last 2 eps only for this week. I demand for making 2nd season for the continuation development of each couples with same casts!!!
I really hate tonight episodes because of those super annoying sisters.
Those 2 sisters are truly annoying, trying to ruin XKL MK relationship in any way. Thank God the couple is a strong minded couple. Let's hope XKY can get rid of them, as they are quite scared with XKY
I love their healthy relationship too. It's so precious. Bai Jing Ting's portrayal as Captain Xing is truly amazing.…
He's a versatile actor. I think most of his dramas' characters are different but he still nailed it. And really appreciate it when he dedicated 100% to characters. In Ping Pong he played as an athlete so he started to bulk up. Of course he still have that body in YAMH as well (I don't know which shot first, Ping Pong or YAMH)
At first I was watching it because I thought it'd the same as DOTS. Now, I can say it has different story & for me it's better than it!
Love how Capt Xing & Dr Mi healthy relationship, they've been lovey dovey but not too much. 3/4 of drama has aired and I don't think they'll make them breakup (maybe some arguement) but I like it better than a usual drama plot relationship-heartache breakup-reunited.
And Bai Jing Ting as Capt Xing is truly a gem! How can a guy with such baby face has muscular body and looks good in uniform?? Glad Bai Jing Ting took this role, he's a well known actor in China but this role definetely makes him more well known internationally
I love the storyline of each MLs. Mainly about talent vs hardwork which happens at almost every side of our life. Now just wishing that the rest of story is not getting ruined
I binge watching all 8 eps yesterday and it's enjoyable to watch. The synopsis makes it looks like a remake of DOTS, but it is not. Still need to see the progress as it has 40eps so the drama has ling way to go
BJT has 2 dramas out this week and his characters are all different. Here, he is a SWAT Captain & on Ping Pong he's an athlete. Totally with different personality. I know it was shot at different times but kudos to him to able to potray different characters.
