I get that this isn't a medical drama but Hae-in being ready to go back to work after a few weeks after brain surgery and having no past memories is so silly.
I promise y'all this show is not good. It's a very below average teen survival show. Every character is boring and cliche. The mafia game plot is not well thought out. The way they're killing characters off is plan stupid. If this is supposed to be a serious horror, it's not. It's a comedy.
If you have something more important to do today, babe, do it and don't waste time watching this.
To everyone saying the age difference is weird, in my opinion it's completely obvious he only thinks of her as a kid and as his friend's little sister from the start of the show. Nothing weird or inappropriate occurs AT ALL. Even when they meet when she's adult in college he still thinks of her as kid for awhile. While I was watching I was very attentive in assessing there interactions to see if they appropriate because if not I would for sure drop it: However, I think they did a great job depicting what it's like to be kid who has a crush on an older family friend or person(which is common occurrence). I completely understand the sentiment that tv shows often depict relationships with an old man and a younger woman when it's either legally or moral wrong but this show DOES NOT do that.
*NOT A MOJOR SPOILER BUT IT HELPS PROVE MY POINT*: The ML (a college student at this point) believes the FL (who is a high schooler at this point) is involved with and adult man and warns her not to enter into such a relationship as it's not appropriate.
Story got way too complicated. While nothing actually happens between the leads of the show, there relationship was literally a budding romance. There were tropes between them that you see in a regular romance kdrama. The show became wildly uncomfortable, overly complicated as the time-travel aspect started to make less and less sense, and frankly ridiculous. Seriously, you don't need to watch this.
Look the show is undeniably funny, Kim Min Gue does a great job here, (and the person who plays the grim reaper as well) but almost no other character had a significant presence. and are kind just there. I'd say watch maybe 6 episode just for fun. I dropped it at 8 I think.
I wish the confrontation between Choi and Ji Dong had better dialogue because there was so much more that could've been said: nonetheless, this is still very much a solid and good show that's not following the same boring k-drama script. I hope they wrap the show well with the episode tomorrow but this comment section gotta chill.
kim jung hun's role and performance here is great and while the plot could've been better the way the story evolves is amazing. The message of the show is delivered well . I have no regrets watching.
I was planning to give this drama a 9 but, those last few episodes did not live up to the rest of the show. I still think this was a great watch but, it didn't wrap up well so it's getting an 8.
