it's never mentioned that he faked his death, everybody thought he's dead fr except for some that brought him away to try to cure him for the last time. miracle happens and he's cured so he came back that's all. He also wants to live a peaceful life without the prince or king title so it's the best the world thinks he died.

Yes I understand the frustration because I also want ML to be recognized as hero too. But I remember what FML said about ML fulfiled his promises to her. The country need a king that considered a hero, Li Mao also need that title to be a real respectable king. From the start ML never bother about his reputation, his plan included him as the villian to reach the ultimate goal of peace and power against any future enemy. ML has been through too much pain, suffering and misunderstanding, but he doesn't care, until he meets FML. She asked him to be a hero, but in the end, he's a hero only to her, he doesn't anyone else to recognize that but her, that's also a way to fulfill the promise he made. This drama makes me cry so much 😭 Their love is beautiful 🎀

Mulin family name means they can be a branch of royal lineage.2. An family along with Lu family were eliminated due to a misunderstanding about flood dam construction, that's why Grand Tutor needs to switch the baby out in order for him to survive as Prince Qi's son. Sadly the baby died shortly after anyway. 3. Yeh that's why Li Mao as last Prince Qi's heir can be crown prince/regent.4. Yep he's so sick due to being poisoned for years I doubt he can make babies 😭5. He built his own vision from young age, from the heavy responsibility as Crown prince Wen Xi to Xiao Wu Yi who in charge of protect the country, it also thanks to his conversation when he first met Li Mao. It's a life time plan where he has no weakness and willing to sacrifice himself. Man this script is so good 😭6. Men fight and they can be friends again if they headed the same direction. Yeh it's a bit unbelievable but with all these actings to trick Ying Wang, I believe they will forgive each other because they know the reason of other person's actions. This applies to FML too when she knows about ML being alive from Li Mao's words, gets angry and say thank you after 🤣 it's confusing with all these attitudes but I understand that they've been through a lot, peace and happiness is what important now more than some hatred and resentment 😭

not really, FML wrapped up her feelings for Li Mao before starting her romance feelings for ML, and she realized it's more like brotherly/friendship love rather than romance love. I hate love triangle so glad that this doesn't make me feel like one 😭

yeh the original filming plan is 35-36 episodes but only made it to 28. that's why we see a lot of flashbacks and sometimes, very rarely weird fast cut to another scene. The crew really tried their best to deliver the whole story with limited episodes range 😭

keep goingepisode 6 is stil too early omg, the plot is unpredictable until the last episode 😭 it's slow burn for FML because she's young and have no experience in love, her love for A Mou is different from romance love. I promise you it worth the watch 😭

about the soldiers death, no one doing anything about it because the government is unstable and corrupted right now. This series has more than love and revolving around just ML FML. It's so much more and there's stage for every support characters. stay tuned 🫶

You should try KTTPH, yeh I know there's controversy about age gap but there's not much intimacy and yet chemistry is too tier 😭 ML loves FML at first sight but holding back because of many reasons. His eyes are full of love for her it makes me weak 😭 Hou Ming Hao is good actor and Ai Mi is young but natural actress. Everything is so well done, it's not just about love, the political and scheming aspects are built nicely too. Plus it's an original plot not adaptation so there's a lot of surprise and twists.

Yes I believe so. But other two are just in the name and more like his comrades. In ep 6 it's hinted that his two wifes already have lovers while FML reading their wishes at the tree. Poor ML all his wifes have someone they love but him 🤣

yeh you can expect many twist and turn with these messy relationships, but I personally don't think it would be too hard too understand once everything wrap up 🤣 looking forward for more cause this series is so good with original script (not adaptation from any novel)
