Title The Price of Confession Spoiler
the reason she killed the FL’s husband was almost idiotic, just cause he said that painting was a fake and he never apologized after?! the real psychopath was the attorney’s wife, kill him bc of that?! that part was kinda dumb, it seemed rushed and not well thought out.

i agree, i also question his decisions and strategy sometimes with the direction he led the team in. like aside…
agree 100%, they based their entire strategy solely on the possibility of a tie that never happened and that affected their picks for the rest of the games

THANK YOU FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! sabi and jae il feels super forced and rushed they had a whole 12 eps and in last ones he’s head over heels? doesn’t t make any sense! Yi young and Dowon also felt kinda out of nowhere and rushed too and like you said, I’m not really interested in them at all. Thank you for the honest comment and not singing its praises like the show is perfect and flawless.

how is the show not in chronological order if the situations continue in other eps? I think the drama has shown that it is in chronological order bc they’ve shown that time has passed in each episode so, I disagree with that maybe in certain instances, but not the main plot. Also, it felt outta nowhere for me. Everyone can have their own opinions, if you find no flaws and you think the show is perfect as I see in your other comments, that’s valid too and but so is my point.

am I the only who thinks this like super profound crush on do won came out of nowhere? like they didn’t even hint it, they just threw it in our face like it was true all along. It’s interesting and I like their chemistry, but seemed a bit out of nowhere for me.

I started reading it as I was watching the show, but I never finished, because you're right, it wasn't good either. I've seen a in a couple shows I saw a bit of Good Morning Call after this, and she seems to play the same dry and no personality role in all her projects. It feels insanely boring. No, absolutely not haha, I tend to be very strict with that no matter who it is. But, I guess I didn't catch anything problematic that time haha I'm watching something currently airing with him and that character I do find problematic hahaha. I have to watch this show again then I must've missed something. It's not all that good either so idk if I want to waste my time tho haha Of course, I'd love to hear some too!

It's very strange since I find most kdrama leads to be problematic one way or another, but I can't find a fault this time around? Am I just whipped for the actor? Yeah, I think many possessive leads like this are not in any way shape or form respectful and not toxic. I've seen many in the past, and it's incredibly easy to cross the line. Yeah, I think that tends to happen with many of these dramas, I've realized that the small amount of episodes compared to other Asian dramas are too short and have to rush everything. It's great to have good pacing and have enough plot lines to interest viewers as they watch, so it doesn't feel too draggy, but this is the other extreme.

I've read a bit of manga and the show was pretty close at least like until the episode I read. I understand, maybe his way of expressing came off a bit strong in the first instance. I think the chemistry is kinda nonexistent as you said, the female lead lacks a real personality while his only personally trait to be seductive and a CEO hahaha the story falls a bit short. As for the unhealthiness, I feel a bit embarrassed to say I actually said I want to meet a person like him, that says a lot about me. But, I think I also read a lot of bad reviews about it, so I knew it was going to be bad, so when I did I found myself liking it more than I thought.

I love when people make reviews here, so first, let me start off by thanking you for your time to write about this drama. I saw your rating and I wanted to read what you thought of the drama since it was so negative. I understand you when you saw the male lead is a bit possessive, but you don't see that until after the first episode. But, I watched it all, and I want to clarify that the male lead says he loves her, because they’ve interacted and met waay before, multiple times actually. So, it's not as predatory as you might think from only watching the first episode. As you watch the show you notice that even though he is a possessive boyfriend, he's respectful about it. I've watched many dramas, and by far he's the first possessive lead I see that's incredibly respectful and not toxic about it. I think an incredibly toxic male lead played by the same actor was in his 2019 drama "Perfect Crime". Thank you for sharing your opinion, I had a good time reading it!

Yeah, Personal Taste is just disturbing to even think about. OH yeah in the US there's conversion theraphy camps, but it was made illegal where I live and many states are making it lligal as well which is amazing news. Yeah, in some places of the world is just terrible, no one should have to leave their countries to live their life freely. It's a big shame

When I say the first episode of this drama, I immediately thought of Personal Taste, I think I made a comment here about it. Yes, the fact that he faked his sexual preference to live inside her home was highly problematic. Back then, that show was received just fine, because people weren't as educated and mindful of such problematic issues. I've seen many other viewers of this drama say they won't contunue or won't watch. A lot of people (except the writer and director) know and respect the issues that coems with being part of the LGBTQ+ community.

It's very sad to hear that such camps exist due to your sexual preference and even religion. In China, we're talking about an all controlling nation, therefore, they will do as they see fir no matter what.

Thank you so much, I had heard of it before. I’ll surely give it a try. I believe that everyone deserves proper representation in mainstream media. And I also thought the same about Personal Taste, it was treated very carelessly. “Changing” your sexual preference or more like pretending you have a particular sexual preference for convenience or for ulterior motives is just disgraceful.

Yeah, I know it was ‘t going to be very accurate in the love story, but I’ve seen fairly good representation in other kdramas. Much better than here, it’s shame that I thought in 2020, we’d have a kdrama with proper LGBTQ representation. I think it’s up to the writer and director tbh, they can be educated enough about it to portray it properly or use it to bait people like this and basically make it become superficial. I think that and many others are the reason this drama is doing so badly.

im not saying you're wrong but you know you could just go fanfic the boyfriend you think kang tae wan deserves.…
Exactly yes, he is also a very underdeveloped character. It's just wishful thinking I guess. I agree that the power dynamics is also a little flawed there, and yeah the only like realistic which idk if it'll happen anyway is that he starts liking Jin Woo (thank you for letting me know his name) before he finds out about Jin Sung's lie. I personally don't feel like the show gave enough hints that they'll end up together, but since this show is really unrealistic and wrongly scripted and written, I wouldn't be surprised if they make him a second choice to rush it. Oh and it's always been 12 episodes, I just have no idea how they didn't cut it to 6 with the .6% of ratings it has...

I knew Jin Sung wasn't going to end up with Tae Wan like when I read the show description, but I expect/ed the person he end up will a well rounded character, so I feel like it isn't rushed or chosen last minute. Because, he's been pinning after a straight guy who'll never see him romantically. I hope his brother and Tae Wan can just be happy. Can I share a conspiracy theory? I think maybe or I'm just wishing idk why if Min Soo, the "ace" of department and Tae Wan ended up together. I just find it weird how he was in the first episodes, dissappeared and appeared again now to help with the show. Idk I just found them cute in that meeting in the last epsiode. It's very unlikely, but since it's a supporting character well I like him the most idk why he seems super nice and genuine.

I just believe that since Tae Wan is a main character in the show he deserves to end up with another well developed character. It seems to me the writer may put Jin Sung's brother and him together bc they have no other properly developed character for him to end up with. I have nothing against his brother, but he barely has any screentime and we truly know nothing else except that he's gay and wants to be a model. But, I wouldn't put it past the writer since, this show is ending and they need someone for him to be with, it seems rushed.
