Aside from my rant loved the main couple a lot. Solid 8.5 out of 10. I am gonna be honest these days I have been…
Most recent ones I watched/watching. Basically an aspect of grumpy sunshine trope. - GAP the series - Love between fairy and devil - Kinnporshe (Both kinnporshe and vegaspete) - handmaiden (I think I am still watching) - Kill me heal me
If I find more ill add it. p.s. I watch hetero, BL and GL dramas so there is a mixture but all these have a page on MDL
This show makes me feel the same way I felt about "Be loved in house I do" after watching. It could have been so much more. It started out soo freaking great too!!
I dunno if its awkward editing/directing but at certain points I assumed I skipped something but nope it just started a new plot point and we need to go with the flow.
I get more irritated with shows that make me feel like they "could have been so much more " than I do with shows that made me feel "meh" or even "Yikes! why was this was actually made?" Cause I can see the potential but *poof* its gone in a smoke.
The best way to explain what I mean without a spoiler is an example scenario: Character A doesn't like character B, Character B does some weird shit and character A is angry at B for hurting him. Then your like, what is going on!!!!!
In summary it felt rushed or like an ad for people to read the novel to understand certain situations better. The main couple had chemistry, I was giggling and kicking my feet in the fluffy scenes. I have also become a MosBank fan. Please give this two a better series. Abeg!
I recommend this show if you are a fan of MosBank <3
Loving the theme in this series and Secret crush on you regarding strong friendships. Ride or die friends that accept you as you are but also call your ass out when you mess up.
Just watched the pilot trailer and going to be honest the acting (or maybe directing) leaves a lot to be desired. Not gonna elaborate further without sounding mean :( The cinematography looks great. The storyline seems interesting but I will need someone to break it down for me. It seems to have been made with novel readers (am guessing most thai bls these days are based on a novel) in mind.
sam is probably my fave chaeobol tsundere ever. <3
Okay thoughts on the episode - I feel like mon understands sam so much to the point that she knows that sometimes people communicate with actions. Regardless of what sam may be saying, her actions show how she genuinely feels - Nop or nod whatever that dude's name is cant take a hint. Having a friendship based on "someday they may like me back" is not healthy. Not only that but dude doesnt seem to respect mon's boundaries. This also applies to kirk to a lesser extent. - Also mon my love, I love you so much. Your communication skills are top tier! - Kicking my feet screaming while watching this. I love this type of fluffy show so much. Great chemistry and fluff work so well together.
- Again chemistry!!! That's why I love romance shows in general (aside from horror) don't care if a show is the fluffiest or the smuttiest show. As long as the chemistry is there with a plot that I genuinely love I will eat it up. Really love the plot for this show and it seems to have been made for the female gaze. I just love that <3
- Gosh the way sam is always serving with her outfits. Even mon does too actually. - Once again I love office romance soo much - I think they already have feelings for each other - I love that mon does her best to understand sam and her quirks and sam is opening up more to her
Still one of my fave shows this year despite its flaws. Loved each character and what they bring to the show. Kinnporsche was and still is my fave couple on the show brought to life by MileApo <3 I do hope we get a season 2 as promised. If not then thats fine lol the actors can move on to something else. Currently watching GAP the series if someone needs a romance show to watch btw :D
Okay I have given myself a day to let my emotions calm down and let my thoughts formulate. The twist with thua…
Aside from my rant loved the main couple a lot. Solid 8.5 out of 10. I am gonna be honest these days I have been loving stories with themes of people who are going through shit all alone and find someone who brings light and love into their world. Then just helps them breathe better and weather the storm. Bonus points only that person understands them after they initially have an antagonistic relationship. It could be the most wholesome or the most messy relationship but that dynamic never fails for me. I cant wait to see the pairing in a different drama :D
Okay I have given myself a day to let my emotions calm down and let my thoughts formulate. The twist with thua should have been done better. Like it doesn't make sense for the character to suddenly be that way. Then the only motivation is "I just want the truth out there!1!!1!". So he harassers those protesters, also harassers Akk for doing what he was pressured into doing. Including outing him to encourage vitriol. Ohh he made sure to add "I respect your relationship!!" .
It strikes me as someone who felt powerless in his personal life, wanted power, got it and then used it to hurt others. Its giving God complex. He will make a great replacement for the principal.
He would have made for a more exciting villian if they had gone the "God complex" route. The potential is there and the actor could have pulled it off.
Like it would have been so much cooler if after the scene where he exposes akk he uses his influence to cause more havoc and becomes the big bad for a few episodes, gets a redemption arc where he genuinely believed what he did was right and acknowledges how much hurt he caused maybe. But that will defeat the student vs authority thing they have going. Oh well!!
I like well written villians where if you look at it from their perspective they could also be a hero of another story.
