I have a lot of thoughts on this drama... On EP33 and I have realized a lot of the "obstacles" feel less than relationship issues and more of the writer trying to drag out the plot. It feels like watching a 500+ yr situationship. The writer clearly excels at the fantasy aspect of the story but their relationship is exhausting to watch. Even the second couple felt rushed that every time they appeared on screen as a couple was when I was like "Oh yeah these two characters I love are actually a couple too".
It also feels like only the male lead and male characters have any sort of character development and growth while the female leads stay relatively the same or sometimes worse depending on what when the plot needs stretching. I wanted to see more of the female lead absolutely battling with how much she hated the dark lord for what he did to her loved ones but also figuring out how she feels about the ML. Maybe it exists but was edited out but I want to see more of it.
Anyway 7 or so episodes left love the show and I am addicted but the characters drive me insane lol
As a former people pleaser who is currently working on setting boundaries, this show warms my heart. Its so so hard to see my old self in the Female lead but it shows me how far I have come.
Really cute drama. I was rooting for the female lead always. The show portrays the trauma the female lead experienced with her "family" in a very real way that I really liked The revenge was wonderful to watch and I finished this within one day.
Aside from that the drama seems to be low budget. I do think the star of the show were the evil stepmom and the step sister as both actresses brought their A Game and seemed to steal almost every scene they were in.
