The series will be collab between MileApo and the Thai gov to promote thai culture overseas So it should have heavy promotion from what I heard. MileApo said its gonna be romcom set in the mansuang universe. While mansuang is queercoded (based on reviews) this series should be full on romance.
The show had us in a chokehold. Everyone and their grandma was talking about it when it was airing. - Whether it was positive, constructive or just plain hate it was been talked about. - The edits were coming in as soon as the episode dropped - Sure the show had flaws but a lot of its strengths was what kept people watching.
If I was a billionaire I would fund lots of bl and gl shows with unique plotlines.
Maybe I would have enjoyed this better if I watched it while it was airing because I have mixed feelings. As soon as the show gets my attention, it loses it just as fast. Sometimes this can happen many times in a single episode. Also I don't really care for the second couple because they seem to exist to fill some sort of second couple quota. Currently on ep 9 so there is a certain charm that keeps me watching ... I am gonna try and finish it.
Ugh this show is so good so far. Thank you to the BL drama Gods for giving us more bl focused on action, crime, thriller/suspense and the leads falling in love in the midst of everything <3
I tried to like this and I love cliche shit but I was really disappointed. I thought that the concept of love rivals actually end up falling in love would be what makes it stand apart but it ended up removing any uniqueness it became a chore to watch.
Joke felt close to a real person while Zo was just there... Any plot point to add layers/complexities to the characters just ended halfway.
And a lot of things the show tries to do, other shows have implemented so much better.
If this show came out in 2018/2019 maybe I would have loved it more but its 2023 too many BLs out there for me to struggle watch this show.
I hope someday drama Gods give me my love rivals to lovers (enemies to friends to lovers) storyline. With slow burn lasting years even
I just wanna say, its good to see a show now inspiring people to make edits and get hyped. I feel like its been a while for thai bls. Also am waiting for some episodes to air then ill start it
