It never matters to jaemin,be it SuHyeon & DaOn's genuine love ,his control was such a powerful & simple tool to suit his own end (which still makes no sense to anyone)

The drama didn't show enough of Su hyeon with Da on with regards to their actual romance,just hinted at it unfortunately that's why it would have benefited from a longer run
