Honestly, I don't think Do Hyeok is overly praising her. I just don't think that Na Bi believes in herself enough to believe that someone else could say that about her. It seems like her ex wrecked her self esteem and she possibly had shaky self image issues to begin with.

I don't think Na bi is as naive as people like to say she is. She's aware that he's a player but she's on the rebound from her ex. She's allowing herself get caught up Jae Eon. He says and does things that lure her in even though she knows the red flags are there. I will say it's naive of she thinks he'll change but for the most part she's rebounding from her last relationship.
