I'm very conflicted about this series. I had fun watching the characters interacting and trying to get along and then when they all actually cared about each other there were some really sweet moments. The interactions between the four knights, and of course Cinderella too, provide a lot of fluffy fun rewatch value.
On the other hand, I feel like they could have removed Hye Ji completely and it would've really helped pacing and story. There was also an excessive use of flashbacks that I was hitting fast forward during, especially when they flashed back to something that happened 5 minutes ago. The OST also drove me crazy because of how repetitive and overused certain songs became. I'm pretty sure that at one point, the song ended and then they restarted the EXACT same song. And as someone else said, there was way too much quick forgiveness toward toxic and problematic parental figures.
So yeah, fun with a lot of issues that are hard to overlook without the fast forward button. However, with the fast forward button, it's an adorable ensemble.
It may just be me, but I don't think Simeon is actually interested in dating Lee Jun.
After they showed us Simeon's anger at Song Hyun Jae for leaving as his manager to follow LJ, I thought that Simeon was only chasing LJ in order to get back at SHJ. He may care for LJ as a friend and think he is cute and endearing, but I don't think it goes beyond that. He just wants to punish SHJ by taking the person most important to him. In fact, I think Simeon is actually in love with SHJ.
I've seen comments talking about their chemistry, but I haven't seen a theory like this (although I may have missed it), so now I'm wondering if I'm just making up plots in my head.
