Agree with you completely! The acting was really good, and totally loved the ending. Also liked the romance betweenm Usagi and Arisu because it was a good contrast to the dark themes of this drama. Maybe it's because I read the manga first, but I wanted the story to stay true to the manga and their romance also developed there.

I really liked them too. I thought their loveline is super sweet and did not detract anything from the main plot. It's also realistic that people will form bonds with others there while they are literally fighting for their loves, whether that bond may be romantic or platonic, so not really seeing how it was "forced."

Finished both seasons back to back. Came here to say that it was a very well done season. You can definitely tell that their budget increased. Though the dialogue can be a bit long/draggy, I still enjoyed the overall message conveyed and development of the characters. Really great watch!
