Ep 532, the friendship games was SO GOOD. i never knew a game of (faux) monopoly could be so funny. It was clear that cha taehyun was a RM vet bc he had such good chemistry and was so good at betrayal. All the other many guests had shining moments as well. Jihyo and sechan trying figure out the escape room with the pillow was also too funny. This show is the best.
They break up, he goes to the military and they don’t get back together in the end
Dang and it started off so good. But i guess when characters get together too soon it usually means the drama flags in the end. (Not to disregard when it takes too long for characters to get together bc that sucks too.)
I think Somin's "friend" was talking about what happened between Somin and the other friend, they said something…
I think she felt awkward but neees better training on how to deflect but it still left a bad taste in my mouth (but i am also a somin stan bc i think she gets shit on a lot by other members). Sometimes i do think the members are too hard on guests who aren't used to thinking craftily/quickly on their feet so they (the members) can get reactions out of the guests to make it interesting and the guests get overwhelmed. I think this happened to im wonhee as well, both he and han jieun got overwhelmed by the egging on and didn't know how to handle it gracefully.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Did her career take off in the end? And what happened to the friendship?
2 years later and i'm still salty there wasn't a season 2. So much was ramping up in the end and we were just left in the lurch with both the romance and the new business storyline. I really wish they had plotted the storyline better. The song is still a fun bop though.
I like this show I really do, it’s easy to watch and entertaining.I just don’t really understand the complete…
I dropped this drama (but came back to see if it was worth picking back up), but i think it's where yeol chan was focusing so hard on punishing man sik that he wasn't realizing that this was also affecting the other interns negatively and was losing sight of himself.
Catching up on episodes and i rly didn't think the blackpink ep was that bad or annoying, they just acted like people who are used to reality cameras, but i don't care one way or another about bp, so...
However on the next episode (526) i felt sooo bad for im wonhee (the shorter guy from the movie) bc it was clear he was overwhelmed and being egged on was making him uncomfortable.
And then the ep after that (527), somin's college classmate left a bad taste in my mouth. She was not good at being playful and saying somin has a victim mentality was too much for someone that is not her close friend. It's much different if someone that already has a repoire like another cast member says that but not someone you only kind of know from years ago. Somin was clearly trying to make it better by declaring she'd be on a diff team and didn't say anything else. Lee joobin, however, was great and i'd love to see her back a lot, she was into every challenge and was very engaging!
I made a comment about his awful profile picture 7 months ago, and here we are, still haunted by this mugshot-looking pfp. Or like a bad college/university ID photo they took before you had a chance to smile and it haunts you for years.
Dain being in constant distress and needing to be saved for this last couple of episodes doesn't bode well with…
Thank you for this comment! I might have started it and been very frustrated by this progression and wasted my time. Instead, i'll wait a bit and see if the fl's characterization gets any better ad the drama goes on before potentially starting it.
For me, just based on the story and characterizations so far, I see no reason to root for Jugyeong with anyone…
Wow, this is some a++++ analysis! He's a good guy but forgets other people can experience the same hardship in different ways. You made me even rethink his character in the webtoon as well, thank you for writing this!
The webtoon's writing honestly traumatised me into hating love triangles even more since in the webtoon, the love…
Hahaha i actually stopped reading the webtoon for months when the seojun dating arc started bc i am SO team suho and i wanted to be able to read through quickly until suho showed up again.
I actually like the slight changes they did to the webtoon compared to the webtoon. The webtoon is slowly and…
Some of the plotting in the drama actually makes a bit more sense (and of course is done to move the storyline along faster), like what the author might do if she had been able to go back and revise the storyline. Like the drama is actually going somewhere with the older sister/teacher storyline, or how it's not actually seojun's friends that are the assholes to jukyung at first, or even that sujin is given a real storyline that doesn't disappear (even if i didn't want her in the drama at all at first, haha).
I love how normal drama things, like being upset about and misunderstanding the money/bribe thing, isn't dragged out like in a typical kdrama trope-y way. It's not swept under the rug either, they both acknowledge the situation and *communicate* right away. Same with the love triangle scene, seo dan ah plays it up for laughs and eggs oh mi joo on, but there's no dragging it out and sdh honestly tells omj why she did it. There's no grand evil scenes here or major drama among the 4 leads, just people who are trying to do their best at life, it feels like real human stakes, which is why the slow-moving plot is actually refreshing and not boring.
