if this is how you view it i am not sure i can help you. you think joe is a horrible person? are we even watching the same series? seriously, you should probably rewatch becuase that man is innocent. in that moment with tong, joe wasn’t thinking about his “second chance,” he was thinking about what he could do to help ming and his family. the second there was a child involved in any of this, ALL of their perspectives changed. and no, i do not think joe is a dumb ass, nice try convincing me tho 🙄🙄🙄i think joe has been hurt and abused and bruised so much in his life, to the point that all he craves is love and affection and would do anything to get it. and would go extreme lengths to help his partner in any way he can. plus, it’s not like joe thought he would get killed once they revealed who was really under the mask. ever since joe #1 left, ming has always found a way to get back to him and help him in anyway he could. and let’s bring up the last scene with joe and ming where ming was going to exchange his place with joe. joe’s reaction was extremely overwhelmed and was physically distressed because he did not want ming to sacrifice himself for him. joe has always put others before himself, and that is probably his biggest flaw, but that doesn’t make him a dumb ass, or a horrible person.
I hated Ming's mom last episode but honestly she was quite nice in today's episode
yes she ended up being quite pleasant the rest of the episode, i just had to fire off my first impression emotions from that scene because she made me so angry in that moment LOL

oh my god who hurt you???? do you not realize that joe is the kind of person who would sacrifice himself to help the people he loves???? whether we like tong or not, he is still part of ming’s family and the father to his nephew. joe was ONLY thinking about ming and ming’s family despite everything that family put him through because he loves ming, and he feels so deeply for him. yes, maybe it wasn’t the “smartest” choice, but anytime joe acts on something, he acts out of LOVE. that’s just the type of person he is. and you’ve got it soooooo backwards. it isn’t joe who doesn’t deserve ming. it’s ming who doesn’t deserve joe. you seriously hope joe dies because of his heroic actions????? weird. seriously such a weird thing to say. joe is an extremely lovable character, and has endured the most pain out of every character in this series, and didn’t deserve any of it. i can’t even believe what i just read.
so mom and dad barge in, then he pukes and mom is like “ming how are you doing sweetie? ming are you alright” omfg you b*tch i will end you. stfu. you do NOT care about your son at all. do not pretend!!

i also love it when off plays kind of a dickhead character, so it will be interesting to see how their romance develops in this series.
the highlight for me this episode was seeing cutie pie sea on screen again 💕💕💕
