This was my first time watching a Japanese actress as a main lead in a Taiwanese drama. I am so impressed by the Japanese female lead actress, Nagasawa Masami. Her acting skills are superb. She even studied Mandarin and spoke the language without a need for dubbing, which makes me admire her more. This is also my first drama watching her. The story, which was based on a manga, was about the romance between a Japanese music student and a Taiwanese gangster. The student's father is the former leader of a gang, who decided to quit the gangster world and become a baker. I find the drama just fine.
To be honest, I enjoyed the movie. The female lead character was played well by Barbie Forteza. Her character is a reflection of ordinary Filipino workers who are suffering in poverty, working in restaurant, and the struggles of helping our family financially, as well as facing pressure at work and relationship. It also stars some of the well-known villain characters in the Philippine movie industry. It's a story of how she made her situation better than before. (The movie title, "Kontrabida Academy" means "Villain Academy" when translated into English.)

I really appreciated the beauty of Kinmen, the simple but heartwarming life of its residents, the touching love and bond between family and friends, and the effort of all the cast and crew to make such a beautiful drama. Everyone did great. This drama never disappoints.

Not all of them are in Youtube. I was able to watch on other sites like Dailymotion, Viki, Viu, Netflix, etc. I search each drama on Google to find any English subtitles.
I find this to be a unique and interesting storyline about the lives of actresses, their success and struggles, behind and in front of the camera. Actresses and actors are also just like any normal human being, they also make mistakes. They are blessed with luck, talent, good looks, money and fame. But all of these and the stardom may either last for a lifetime or not for some. The cast was stellar, with amazing performances by some of the award-winning actors in the industry. The music also fits it. This was a top-notch show.
