Dubbing is not that bad, because I simply am a big fan who loves the whole Chinese entertainment industry and I still watch any drama or movie they air. My only problem is about not having English subtitles on all of them. It was also interesting to know some things, like the reasons why dubbing is needed, I just knew it after reading it here. It's not giving any problem at all. It depends what kind of watcher you are, whether you're the type who likes dubbing or it turns you off. So good job! đ
This drama mainly showcases the beautiful wonders of Taiwan. I admired the scenic views and high-quality cinematography. The story is very slow-paced, and focuses more on the characters' emotional healing process. It taught me a lot of moral values and it gave me many realizations in life that I can relate. I was moved by the interactions between all the characters. Worth watching!
I look forward to watch this drama. I know some people whom I met personally, both male and female ones, who are now working in Bureau of Fire Protection. Just like a police or soldier, working as a firefighter is a noble job to be part of with, as it takes bravery and courage to save lives in times of disasters. I hope I can watch this with English subtitles.
I rewatched this drama the 2nd time around, and I still felt the same great feeling the 1st time I watched it. Jerry and Ella are a suitable pair. Funny and sweet.

Great article, Becky! I'm so happy to read this one, since I'm a huge fan of Taiwanese dramas myself. I haven't watched any of the dramas in your list yet, but they should be all good choices, and for me, all Taiwanese dramas are great, the actors are very talented and good-looking, the stories are creative yet relatable in life, and the production is of high quality, like I may think the scenes I'm watching are happening in reality when in fact they're just fictional, for example, time-travelling. It's just sad that only few of them have English subtitles available. If you like K-dramas or C-dramas, you'll definitely love Taiwanese dramas as well! :)
