I’m really struggling with the Vegas/Pete storyline. I mean Pete clearly suffers from Stockholm syndrome. It’s…
i agree. i read comments saying the chemistry was great but i dont see it. i think it's bc it didnt have time to build up like the main couple. also pete doesnt seem comfortable with intimate. cant wait see how the actor progress.
I am surprised to this with a high rating. I did not know what to expect when watching this. For me, it was hard to follow this plot. I will watch again because I am clearly missing out on something. Cant believe this got a S@ right away while I'm waiting for shows to announce if they are getting a S2.
Finally found a historical drama with a happy ending and long episodes. I wish the last episode was long so we could seen why the other guy ran off so fast after his master said to kill them but blame the pirates.
It's also cute how everyone knew Gu She and Tao Mo were meant to be together.
reading your analysis the only thing I can say with surety is that you clearly didn't understand the show
No problem. It's my fault for judging the show so quickly. This show is easily one best BLs we had this year. Both characters are so complex and I feel for both of them. I'm glad to be a member. I'm currently watching the boys on The Golden Spoon. Love the duo.

I was meant to correct this. I commented right after watching it for the first time. Since I have watched it an unhealthy amount my mind has changed.
*After I calmed down and re-watched this series I have come to realize that Ji Woo was hurting. Because Seo Joon was a big star his time was preoccupied with press and doing shows. Ji Woo felt lonely and rightfully so. The scene where it was Seo Joon's birthday and Ji Woo had a cake and dinner made but he had to watch Seo Joon celebrate with his cast was sad to watch. Ji Woo had no choice but to break it off so he would not feel so lonely anymore. Leaving a note and no face to face explanation was not nice but it was understandable. In the end, they both knew how much they meant to one another. Communication was missing. But when they finally communicated about what was missing in their relationship they both agreed to stop doing those things to make their relationship work. I'm glad they found their way back*
I hate to say this. This is my take on this short series. I did not like how the friend was only with Heeju because she felt bad for her. I think if she gave her the space she was asking she would have gotten over her crush somehow. Being with someone out of pity is messed up. I feel for Heeju because she knows that her friend only dated her because she didnt want her to be depressed. Heeju was really selfless to break up with her friend bc her friend would have gone on with the charade being unhappy.
seo ham has a lot of potential to do great things. i hope when he comes out the military he continues acting but also gets into modeling. would love for him to get international recognition. hoping for a semantic error s2.

I digress.
