Who's hating him here...I'm curious as to why? I actually like that he was consistent with who he liked. He also talked with everyone but was direct with who he wanted. He spent time withn SH and also developed a good rapport with him.

I agree, I'm extremely proud that HJ spoke to both MS and HJin and expressed his feelings. To be honest, they probably shocked how much truths he was stating. MS never took initiative apart from gifting the cookies. Dating or getting to know someone works both ways.
Who could blame HJ for closing off. Now that MS is aware, I know he's kicking himself for letting a lovely man slip away. HJ deserves so much more and I think him taking a step back is the best way to avoid even more distress.

When HJ said he was disappointed in his own reactions and such, I just have so much respect for him. He's a gorgeous man with an even more gorgeous heart. He takes accountability but doesn't hold back with facts regarding other people's behaviour.
MS reality check is important because hes not serious. I think even with HJin aggressive approach, MS didnt seem to enjoy especially as it was coming from HJin. Even when MS asked HJin why do you like me, if I remember his answer was even vague.
