The only person that is fully selfish in this drama for me is Sohee though. I cannot see Taekyung being selfish he just wants clarification and he wanted to support people. Taekyung is straightforward and does things on impulse.
If he was selfish for example, he would have been nasty to Sohee and treated people badly. He did not. Yes he wanted a answer from Daon but when the picture did spread, he thought of Daon well being. He knows Daons true personality and feelings to be liked and just wanted to support him. Heck, I bet Taekyung even wanted to apologise for even confessing on the balcony which led to the picture being taken maybe. Daon due to his personality ran and avoided which I understand but does he also forget Taekyung was in that picture too?
Remember whem Taekyung finally found Daon after waiting so long, Daon said "not now Taekyung, another time". That hurts and thats why Taekyung had to finally speak up.
Taekyung could have waited for Daon's answer if he did say he needed time. Taekyung only confessed because he just wanted the courage to speak up and live with no regret even if rejected.
Now Daon wants Taekyung after Shinwoo has been giving him chances. All a mess. Next people will say Shinwoo is selfish lol.
I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion. If others think hes selfish, then thats what they believe then sadly. At the end of the day, these characters are supposed to be teenagers.
Yeah Shinwoo constantly told him to speak to Taekyung. Even on the school trip before the damn picture was spread.
I think Daon would have confessed if he didnt leave to do that errand on that trip. It sad he ignored Taekyung confession right after them boys mocked him about the bracelet and being homophobic. Its a shame and also due to Daon personality it was difficult for him to deal with....but he did have chances. 1st...school trip and actually twice - Taekyung asked about how he saw him ( younger brother) and the bracelet confession. 2nd in tutoring with Taekyung in the committee room. Daon, I do feel sorry for him as he was panicked, confused and didnt know how to handle the situation. He never thought he would feel this way and especially with a guy (as Daon is/was straight?).
Do you remember what Nam Goong said about courage? Daon is definitely the one who is and will have to deal with regret. He only thought about himself and is image which has now dented a potentially romantic relationship with Taekyung.
If I was Taekyung, I would move on. Lets be friends but not lovers. Its just too much.

This drama is so good and although Thousand Stars is nice, Light on Me is another level. It deals with so many issues people may face. Homophobia, fitting in, finding friend's, love and also finding self love for yourself....being fearless and also having the courage to say I am not always okay.
