I don't know what it is but something is missing with this show. I do not dislike it but I am excited to watch show per week.
I should have known my interest towards the show would be different when they released the official trailer. I preferred the unofficial one and found it more interesting for some reason.
In my culture, the mothers (my mums age, older and some even younger) act the same as the mother's here in this drama.
Although I am not Thai, if you knew my ethnic background and more you will see why I said it. Its even illegal to be gay in my country, ridiculous but what can I do. My Mother was known to be the one who speaks out. She can be seen as a pain because she refuses to be the stereotype that my culture has tried to put on her. Ive got her attitude and older people have said oh your husband wont have a say because I'm outspoken...let the husband do the talking, know your role. Thats why I said everyone reacts differently.
Although I'm open minded amongst others, some people of my culture are not and they will bash you badly for supporting LGBT. Dare some may call you insane.
In the episode Gene's dad was reading a letter from his old love and it said his name was Pop have they ever told…
They never heard Sibs Dads name but I'm taking a guess. After today's revelation I wont be shocked...Pop might be a could be his nickname or something.
Maybe history repeating itself? A reason that Gene's family moved next door to Sibs house. They Dads knew each other because they have a past, no clue just a theory.

Honestly looked like he nearly gave in but I will say disgust to make me feel better. I would have slapped Gene's mouth with my hand and ask if hes okay lol. I also expected to see some flashback types of when you can see where Aoey was starting to like Gene. Needed thatcontent.

Its either what you said and a combination that I think Gene's and Sib brothers like each other. I just have that feeling. I feel sorry for the brother, the father acts all high and mighty but hes a liar...a hypocrite. Everything is just too much. I cant blame Gene for not coming to the family house often, his father is too much.
Gene's Dad is a hypocrite but he probably had to be in the closet because: family, how times were back in the day (high stigma) and I just think he was just in denial. In that sense I do kinda feel sorry (1%) him but he is still a self hating fool. It looks like he does have a proper talk with Gene in the next episode. They will hopefully have that heart to heart and some apologising will be shared.
I'm so proud of Sib and especially Gene. He stood up for himself and Sib, honestly I actually got emotional. That took Gene so much courage, I adore him.
Also I think Gene and Sibs brother are gay/like each other. I sensed something more than friendship there. Gene's Dad probably knew this and told Gene's brother to stop it. Thats most likey why Gene's brother was upset. He has denied his two sons love when himself used to date men. The dads former love was obviously Sibs Dad ( I have a feeling). Do they believe that stopping their sons being gay and in love will stop what the Dads went through?! So many damn questions. Also the Mothers kinda pissed me off. I hate that head of the household (husbands) crap. Do you think I could allow my husband to be rude to our child...my baby. Yes its a shock but its not a crime to be gay and I know some cultures are different. My culture are still small minded about it unfortunately. At the end of the day everybody is reacts different but I will have my say as a Mother to my child.
Aoey needs psychological help. He's severely depressed and the way he is acting out its quite sad and concerning. When he more or less said to Gene I can take care of you...I was like Aoey just stop please. I know he likes Gene and I cant blame him. Gene is actually a cutie and quite sweet. Aoey is attracted to him and wants what he has with Sib. Mork, I feel sorry for him as Aoey rejected him just like how Gene rejected Aoey. I think Mork and Aoey will have that moment but if that doesn't happen then its okay. You dont always get who you want. Aoey needs to love himself before he tries to love anyone else.
Tiffy I had a feeling she thought Tum was gay. Please not because of the silly stereotypical thing's he did that women are supposed to do ( so sexist ugh). Straight men can do the same things Tiffy! Anyway, she more than likes him....shes in love with him and I cant blame her. When she finds out he's truly straight Tiffy is going to chase him down.
P.S. Ummm was Gene ready to allow Aoey to kiss him in that bar? He stopped trying to push Aoey and even closed his eyes. I was thinking Gene, we need to talk?!

I agreed with every single word you said. Thing's take time and Gene has been harbouring his sexuality for years. The internal pain he must have been going through i can't imagine. I'm glad you mentioned his father, how could anyone be ready to come out to him when the dad is super uncomfortable.
Sib does come across stalkerish which he needs to nip in the bud but he's completely harmless. He adores Gene and we forget hes only 20.

You got one part wrong about liking someone but theres other spoilers for that. Aoey is obsessed lunatic and Tiffy has her own issue's that needs to be addressed. You're right, both have major problems from the looks of it.
