honestly first 10 episodes were great. the acting through out was phenomenal from all. interesting premise. i love a good thriller and i can suspend disbelief to enjoy them. but wow did those last 2 eps really sour the show. super disappointing end for no reason. definitely going to check out more dramas from the actors though.

Why is it many members on MDL don't consider two male characters pursuing the FL a love triangle, but will immediately…
I think, for me, I never considered that a love triangle because it was pretty clear Inhae only had platonic feelings for Doshik. Any time he tried to confess or make a move, she'd dodge it or seem uncomfortable. It felt completely one-sided. So the lack of 'who will she choose' kinda dissolves the triangle for me. Doshik never actually felt like competition for Woohyeol. Inhae never gave any indication that she had any actual romantic interest in Doshik. With Woohyeol and Haewon, they at least pretended like there was the possibility that they could get together or at least threaten the main ship.

i've come to notice for a lot of dramas with little to no romance no matter how amazing they are there are people…
What are you basing this on? Because if you look at MDL's list of top dramas, the majority of them are not romance focused.

This drama thought way too highly of me as a viewer lol. As soon as the big (but predictable) reveal that Ba Reum was the horrific serial killer, I just couldn't care about him anymore. All the emotional scenes of him processing his past and crying over Bong Yi had me rolling my eyes. He did absolutely incredibly horrible things to the victims and to all the genuinely good people in the show and then the writers wanted me to care about him and his serial killer man pain? Nah. I couldn't wait for him to die. LOVED the first 6 eps and the dynamic of the crime crew but then they hit us with the completely unrealistic, psuedo-science brain transplant plot and started to lose me. Then they wanted like 7 episodes of my caring about a serial killer feeling guilty and that was just not gonna happen.

Unfortunately, I found the characters got increasingly MORE unlikable as the show went on so if you already don't…
They literally said they found it boring and the characters unlikable and asked "does it get better?" and I supplied my opinion as an answer. Which is the point of this section. Where am I forcing anyone? Maybe you shouldn't silence an opinion just to try and force people to continue to watch it.

they are really just gonna end it like that, huh. okay then. this whole drama was decent, it had some good moments…
I felt like I was being trolled. Literally every interesting plot point and relationship they introduced got ignored or ended in an extremely unsatisfactory way. So many things felt so pointless. So few characters had development.

I watched the first ep, and I found it excruciatingly boring and the characters were not at all likeable, except…
Unfortunately, I found the characters got increasingly MORE unlikable as the show went on so if you already don't like them I'd say don't waste your time.

It's a stylistic choice. The atmosphere is supposed to be very bleak and gritty and dark. I haven't seen the original…
Well they are paying KSH about $400,000 an episode for this show so I guess they had to cut some corners elsewhere lol

8 episodes? Why do I feel like it's going to have an ambiguous/open ending? November, please come soon!
The original British version was only 5 eps and the American remake was 8 eps so I have a good feeling they'll be able to tell the story properly sticking to that pacing

The trailer looks like low-budget YouTube show or is it just me?
It's a stylistic choice. The atmosphere is supposed to be very bleak and gritty and dark. I haven't seen the original British version, but I have seen the American adaptation and you can see the similarities in the way it's shot - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=556N5vojtp0 .. it's definitely a choice to make it seem more raw and real rather than a typical highly polished drama.

It should be considered a crime that this isnt sitting at 9.0 at the moment...
I think people are waiting to see the end. I never rate dramas (especially thrillers) until I finish them, personally, because the ending can really make or break a show. I'm loving this so far, but I feel like my overall rating is going to rely very heavily on how/if their able to wrap this up in a satisfying way.
