I submitted the synopsis but in a nutshell the FL is a han dynasty princess that magically gets transported 2,000 years to the present day and wakes up as a regular girl working in the fashion industry. She knows the ML as the royal historian but she also meets him in present times. :)
Great Review! I felt very similar about the drama 👍🏼
… plus I also thought Vin Zhang‘s Character might meet an even worse fate 👀 When I read the comments about him having burns that end his career I thought he was gonna be unrecognizable (watched a drama not too long ago that had this happen to a MC) but turns out it’s just on his cheek :D
Our boy LYN has until next Friday to get together with HH. YY has a lot of shortcomings but she doesn’t deserve…
Zhang Ke turned out to be a 🐍 🐍 … It was already weird when he did that grand confession when they didn’t even speak much with each other at work but after today’s episode I officially find him obnoxious 🙃
Lin Qiaoxi, a girl living in a small town in the mountains, whose nickname is Cherry, grew up surrounded by love. Surrounded by loving and open-minded parents and elders, sincere and lively friends and partners, and familiar and warm plants and trees, her whole world is so bright that there is no shadow in the slightest. When she was nine years old, she met a different person in her life—Jiang Qiaoxi, a transfer student from the provincial capital. Jiang Qiaoxi is incompatible with everything around him, whether it is his extraordinary mathematical talent, the aura of "genius" he bears, his gloomy and silent personality, and his superior but secretive family. Jiang Qiaoxi is like snow on a mountain, cold and pale, but Lin Cherry is like a cluster of small flames, persistently warming him, illuminating him, and accompanying him.
The debt collectors alliance reaction to his confession was funny 😂 they were perplexed. Plus drunk Zhang Ke was like a puppy… but whenever I see him I think of Maid‘s Revenge 🙃
YY kind of had it coming for her… hopefully this will push her to change and not keep shady relations to people anymore.
I liked this movie a lot! Even rewatched it (which i rarely do normally)
The screenwriter won best scriptwriter at Taipei Film Awards with this movie.
There is not a lot information on mdl about the movie but it’s a more sad but somehow colorful story. It’s not a deeply romantic film and uses reverse story telling for one plot point. Also don’t worry about love triangle, there is none. But there’s even a plot twist that made me go 😯… plus I liked the styling. - it’s unique and tbh it really fits once you get to know the characters, because they/he is quite unique .
I see the comments here are mostly negative, so I‘m happy I watched this movie on Netflix before checking MDL 👍🏼
Wait, they just dropped all episodes at once, already got a 9 rating + reviews?? All in one day 😳 If anything this just proves that white, bright color palette + youth stories are very popular on mdl this year…
They looked down on Yezi from minute 1 when she didn’t even do anything (yet)… I don’t agree at all with what she did but what she said to MYC in the police station was 100% how I felt their dynamic was.
They did Yan Chen and Ye Zi dirty. He deserved more than being the dude who is in love with his sister. I really…
I felt so cheated! I hate what the writer‘s did. From beginning on everyone compared her to XQ with backhanded comments and making her feel worth-less, eventho she didn’t even know XQ yet. I read a lot of comments hated her from beginning on but I felt the opposite. I believe it’s like his cousin said, she liked him but if she can’t have him - she‘d rather ruin him. But I don’t believe he played her either but rather it’s the writers that made a u-turn after the classic romantic scenes like when they were walking in the evening and had the typical close up looking at each other scenes.
Honestly to me this pairing could have been his redemption… and she could have also changed but oh well…

Hope that helps…
