It’s been updated now. There is no hater mod but rather his previous image was technically perfect (looking straight into the camera, even from all sides, plain background, 300x360px) except that it’s over a decade old. So any image where he slightly tilted his head or was to the side got rejected and sadly all his recent head shots didn’t meet the requirements. I did eventually find one ~ but just wanted to give you some insight why users couldn’t change it before.

That I don’t know 😅 but it got big enough to come from chinese social media until here. Given that his dramas are still airing it must mean it’s not true 👍🏼 Because actors/actresses get blacklisted super fast these days….

There was a rumor going around when "Provoke“ aired that he slept with a male executive to get into a certain agency / get better roles (i believe that was the reason but If you check his profile there are people explaining it)
13 episodes in ~ I really want to finish it because it’s only 24 eps… but damn. The ML is soooo wooden in his expressions 😩… it’s like he barely even opens his mouth to talk. Doesn’t help that the dubbing in monotonous too. The only good thing is the writing of the ML, I like that he is strengthening Wanwan‘s self confidence and helps her to overcome insecurities.
Edit: I did some digging. It the first drama script of both screenwriters. They normally write ~200 page novels or scripts for animation. Maybe that’s why this is so so boring.
Surprised to see ZYQ back with a drama :0 I‘ll never understand who gets banned for what or when it doesn’t matter ^^ ~ but happy to see him in a new drama!!
