I disagree that it was because of a crush. She had depression and was taking medication. She seemed sui!cidal already but that day all bad things came at her at once. And she acted on impulse (by jumping after the phone). She wasn’t really contemplating.
In my opinion it was because of the depression in combination with the debt and losing of the job.

Damn. The poster looked so epic & cool. Trailer was good too but I was laughing when I watched the first episode 🥲😆 The quality was really low, both production, dialogue and acting so I gave up.
She has lost much more face in front of the public due to the surrogate scandal which is much more grave in terms of how the public views her (and essentially hates her) Deng Luan "only" committed tax evasion and will probably banned from Chinese entertainment for a few years. He has also been seen accepting letters from fans at an airport, so he doesn't seem to try to completely disappear.
