I recently finished the drama and I disagree with your sentiment that the romance was rushed or awkward. Personally, I was hoping for more screen time between our main leads which unfortunately you get less of toward the end bc the story focused more on politics. I don't know if its considered a spoiler but they get married in ep 19 and I loved watching them navigate obstacles together as a married couple. That being said, maybe watch up to their marriage and if you're still not enjoying it, I think it's fair to drop it.

I hate the mother and yeonjin so f-ing much. almost couldn't get pass ep 2 bc of them. also I hate how yeonjin scrunches her nose every time she speaks, seriously cant stand that.
