haha that’s strange to me since I’ve seen Jane Dong Yoon in two dramas at least. he did a fantastic job in Like Flowers in Sand!! really recommend watching, I think he portrayed that role really well, can’t speak for this drama tho

I completely respect your opinion, but is this a drama where you're supposed to see character development? I think it would have been a lot weirder if the characters were likeable.. I also think that, for the most part, the backstories weren't really necessary. For someone to do such horrendous things, there must be ton of reasons. They all participated in illegal activities, I don't think the reasons why they did it could be explained easily.

I honestly don't understand your point about the characters being annoying? To me, the point was that they were all morally flawed, but ultimately just victims of the society. Isn't it about completely destroying the concept of rooting for somebody?
