Thank you for this comment. I seriously thought I was alone reading everyone else's praise for the king (not actor). I believe he brought it onto himself, he didn't see the good at all. Yeok didnt have an easy life either but did he turn wicked? I think not. Did you see how even after everything, he still couldn't kill his own brother? And my god, episode 18's ending felt like a stab to my very own heart.
