This was so fun!!! I can't find a proper sub of the first movie but I loved this one! Aoi and Shusei were so cute and thankfully Reon wasn't an issue. I loved the scene where Aoi blew up on Reon and her little "I'm so disappointed!" which was so deserved. Also Machida Keita (Soju) is so fine and Kamishiraishi Mone is such a cutie<3
But real talk it was a bit weird how co-dependent they were, like I understand 4 years is a lot to a teen but Aoi couldn't even go 4 days without her boyfriend? Idk maybe I change my mind after I watch the prequel, but anyway I think Mone and Yosuke had lovely chemistry. As cheesy as this movie is I think I'd watch it again!

I freaking loved this! This was my first Thai drama and it did not disappoint. I have fallen for Tu Tontawan and of course Bright, Dew, Win, Nani and Prim. Cindy was serving MOTHER everytime she was on screen like her outfits???? Her aura??? The bob???
-The OSTs were lovely and I'll be listening to them again. -Romance wasn't the strongest but it had me squealing with their first proper kiss to crying when they broke up in EP14 so they're mad cute to me. -That last episode though, they really tried my patience with it. Let Gorya wear pretty dresses!!! -I won't forget about Thyme almost hitting Gorya in EP7 (another try on my patience) -Loved that they atleast acknowledged those bullied before the current story timeline, thought it wasn't handled the best. -Introduced me to my crushes (and I'm currently obsessed with all things F4 Thailand) so I'll love it forever
I loved this. I didn't feel the need to watch any Boys over Flowers iterations but this one stole my heart and I'm glad this is the one I watched.
I have a few gripes with the show though, like how Ep16 had the amnesia plot take up like half the episode and how some of Thyme's confrontations with Gorya should have been handled and the lack of moments seeing Thyme and Gorya as an actual couple.
But I loved watching it so much!I love how it missed some cliches that seem deeply woven in the RomCom genre. Like the ambiguity of Ren's feelings for Gorya and how he was their one of if not biggest supporter, how Gorya didn't shy away from being from a low income household, it was a part of her life and she never felt embarrassed to admit she didn't have money to do or buy things, I also love the friendship between the F4, Gorya and Kaning, and of course her family. ALSO Rosalyn was giving every second she was on screen, I hated her but the bob was always pristine and she was serving looks everytime I just have to admit it, the actress did an amazing job

I feel bad for the actress man. Obviously there are annoying people like Jin Star in life but they usually have depth other than being mean and annoying. This woman is only here to do things that somewhat relate to Gu Won

I won't even lie SWDBS was like a weak 7 for me and that's me being generous.
I loved Boyoung and Hyungsik but everything else felt so lackluster most times. Like how we'd jump from cutesy scenes to women in agony begging for their lives.
Not saying SGNS is better but a lot of people should learn to see some shows as what they are without bias. Even if I loved SWDBS I'd still try to see the merits of this show instead of "This show was better". A Time called you had this same issue even though it wasn't a bad show at all
Really like Lee Yumi in this role, she brings cheeky cuteness to the role.
Also as cute as Kang Heesik is, Ryu Si-o and Namsoon have chemistry for DAYS. And I mean the way he *looks* at her. Dang.
Feel like I should say I don't ship them. That man doesn't have good plans for her lol. Their apparent chemistry just strikes me more than Namsoon and Heesik who are quite cute too!
I really loved Kassandra's (Ye Seul's?) outfits through out. The actress rocked them all and they were just so pretty and trendy, yet colourful and sometimes out there (at least to me ><). Honestly Sol Hee's (I was surprised by the dresses over jeans but it's a really cute look) and Cho Rok's (salad lady, her knit wear, and sweater vests were so pretty!) were pretty nice too but Kassandra's were top tier for me, I especially loved her Morticia Addams look in the festival episode!
It's a pity the men were a bit plain, though I can understand plotwise why but Do Ha's multiple white t-shirts and button ups were a bit of a running gag for me at a point lol.
I'm glad I watched it but it's not something I'd ever watch again. Seeing people say how good the original is makes me want to go watch and compare.
The time loops had me confused but I think I have it down now (there are two right? Because of the multiple Si-Hyeons in 2023?).
Another thing is while I empathized with Min-ju and In-gyu, I found them both so annoying (it felt like all they did was whine instead of saying or doing something).
Jeon Yeo Been was a standout, loved how different Min-ju and Jun-hee were in behaviour and even speech! Hyo Seop ate this up however, so much emotion! Even in his subtler moments!
