Ojakgyo Brothers Episode 10

I had enjoyed this drama so far as I liked the idea of seeing the story of this family and mostly what eventually happens to the four brothers. However this episode was disappointing for me mostly because the women characters are turning out weak and whiny like what happens often in Korean dramas. The news reporter is begging Tae Bum to marry her, the neighbour is stalking Tae Sik to notice her and Ja Eun is asking for Tae Hee's help and understanding. I am not liking where this is going but I will hold tight for a few more episodes and hope there will be a less chovinistic slant to the story soon.

I am not even half way through this drama and already loving it to bits. The switch from the children (who were absolutely great) to the more adult actors took a bit to get used to, but the flow of the story didn't suffer because of it and I am just so fascinated by the settings and the costumes that sometimes I forget to follow the plot! In any case I hope this keeps going well as I am enjoying the story very much indeed.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal Episode 12

I am loving every minute of this fantastic drama. The acting here is superb and I am so much enjoying the setting and costumes as it is the first historical drama that I watch. However, in this episode I had some real 'flashbacks' which reminded me a lot of 'Coffee Prince'. We have the same situation where a guy is in love with a girl whom he thinks is a guy and goes on having identity crysis. I couldn't believe how similar the scene of the night on the island was to the scene on the beach in Coffee Prince. I hope this 'similarity' doesn't carry on for too long, but in any case it is not spoiling the beauty of this drama for me.

I am really enjoying this drama as it is merging moments of hilarious comedy to quite dramatic moments whilst keeping the flow of the story going smoothly. I absolutely loved the scene where the father and brother came back home and ate the Chinese food whilst the other two were hiding in another room hearing them gulping their food and bad mouthing their rival team. And I thought the scene where PMY didn't reaveal the reason for his punching the waiter even to his team commission very moving. Keep it going!!

This is a great episode of this drama because we see both the main couples showing how deeply they are involved in their relationships. I was pleasantly surprised to finally see a couple showing their physical attraction more than it usually happens in Korean dramas...this will definitely be a plus in my overall rating of this drama.

I am absolutely enjoying this drama because it is really intense, well written and superbly acted. I only have one thing that bothers me and this is the unnecessary excessive violence shown. In this episode one soldier was kicked until he almost died and another man was tortured in the nail box and we had to see his pain for minutes on end...I mean do we need to see this in such detail? We can get the message anyway even if the scene is not prolonged. Of course I am hating Shunji as his evilness is out of this world and I hope in further episodes he won't be forgiven and become good again as I would be greatly dissappointed...in my opinion when one shows this level of evilness there is no turning back.

This was the best episode of this drama so far. I was absolutely breathless in going through all the different moments of the story where there is never a dull or boring moment. This drama is truly extraordinary, full of action, love, pride, family attachment and friendship. I am expecting it to carry on like this until the end and I hope I won't be disappointed.

It's amazing how after 'only' 10 episodes finally this drama starts becoming interesting for me. The story takes off here in my opinion and it will be interesting to see what happens next. Buy why use 10 whole episodes when about 5 would have probably told the same story?

I didn't think this last episode was as bad as all the disastrous ratings here below, and this is because I believe that the scriptwriters really gave the spectators (the Gong Yoo fans in particular) what they subconsciously wanted. I mean after having seen so many episodes with love blooming between Kyung Joon in Yeon Jae's body and Da Ran for me it would have been really awkward to see Kyung Joon in his original body at the end of the episode. I agree that it doesn't make sense as it means that the switch only involved the loss of memory but if we think about it the whole plot is unrealistic therefore the ending was only coherent with the love story. Throughout the story infact found it hard to believe that she could love the real Kyung Joon in his original body as a determining factor for her falling in love was definitely also Yeon Yae's aspect.

This is a great episode where all the events that happened in the past have their right conclusion. Absolutely great acting by the main leads.

This is another good episode. My favourite parts were when Park Tae In started working and bought the dress for her and when she wore the dress and went out for a picnic with him...great, great story so far!

This was a very particular episode where Naoki seems to have a change of heart and be attracted again by his old girlfriend Natsuki and treats Riko with contempt. It is an unsettling episode as the story seemed to go a certain way and it took a completely different turn. Towards the end it is possible to imagine what might happen in the last two episodes. The acting is as always brilliant.

Shining Inheritance Episode 8

This one of the few dramas so far in which I am hopelessly cheering for the second lead Park Jun Se whom to me is so much nicer than the main lead Seo Woo Hwan. Not only is he much kinder and with a great heart, but I am finding him really charming and attractive and I see him so well suited to Ko Eun Sung. I have no idea of how the story will unfold and I am sure there will be something along the way which will break the magic spell between the two. I wonder why there are such great second leads in Korean dramas?
