Rich Man, Poor Woman Episode 9

This episode was absolutely brilliant!! The part of the messages on the wall was so effective and I so like both the male leaders in this drama. I am sure the friendship between the two will be quickly restored. Also Makoto is finally becoming stronger and is starting to be valued for what she really is. Great, great drama, it is a pity that it will soon end.

Even though the plot is not particularly original, I am enjoying the warmth of this drama. The colours and feelings depicted here are particularly delicate which is what I am appreciating the most.

I have to say that I was so looking forward to seeing this drama and it was a suprise to find almost the copy of Kagi no Kakkatta Heya. Shingo's acting and strange ways remind me sooo much of those of Ohno in that drama, especially when he meditates and points his finger to his forehead whereas Ohno would click his fingers...also I found Yamapi's forced character and laughter so fake that I almost cried instead of laughed. I am really hoping that it improves in the coming episodes which will certainly include different cases to be solved...why are the Japanese making so many similar dramas (I am also thinking of Ataru here)?

This is the second episode in a row that they end with Lee Yong Sung being shot/hurt or in danger and every time I am left with my heart beating too fast and in shock. Gosh this drama does quite shake the viewer and again I am loving it to bits.

When a Man Falls in Love Episode 10

I totally agree with what CheerfulSoul wrote below...Mi Do doesn't care about Tae Sang one bit and he should really let her go and not put all of his energy towards someone who doesn't appreciate him...but we all know that this logical thinking doesn't apply to dramas so we will go through a lot of pushing and pulling and I only hope that Tae Sang will end up happy...who cares about Mi Do!!

You Are the Best! Episode 16

Honestly, the more I watch some Korean dramas and the more I ask myself why pride and self-respect are not included in the characters personalities...it is so frustrating!! I mean did Shoon Sin have to really go and beg the actress to be her teacher and insist to the point of being thrown on the ground? Is this realistic at all? And what about her mum being thrown on the ground before her? These details make me want to drop this drama, but I will make a strong effort to ignore them as I like the unfolding of the story and the acting.

This is the saddest episode of the whole drama so far. As there are three more episodes to go I am obviously hoping that things will not end up as they look at the moment.

I am writing this review with my mouth still wide open...what on Earth happened here? It was a total shock (a pleasant one) to see a Japanese version of Sex and the City and I am totally enjoying it!!! What a change from brother/sister type kisses to this...I still have to overcome the surprise and I am saying, bring it on!!

I always wonder why in Kdramas there must be some rude and unbearable personalities. In this drama I absolutely can't stand the grandmother, the second sister Yoo Shin, the small brat Woo Joo and the lead actress of the drama they are shooting. I never understand why people never shout back at them as they would deserve.

I will never understand why Koreans enjoy seeing women being so humiliated. This episode was incredibly frustrating with the main female lead being constantly ignored and hurt and most of all showing how hurt she was...where, oh where has her pride gone? I really felt like dropping this drama at this point, but the curriosity concerning the stalker issue and the second couple (manager and best friend) are keeping me going.

I truly agree with all the high ratings of this drama. This was an amazing episode full of cliffhanger and heartbreaking moments. The Koreans are truly outstanding in their dramas as whenever I think I have seen the best drama (City Hunter, King2Hearts) another one comes up which reverses my convinction of not being able to see anything better. The actors in this are incredibly good and although there is a tad too much violence for my tastes, this drama so far leaves me completely astonished by its beauty.

Despite being quite skeptical when I started watching this as I generally don't enjoy action stories I have to admit that this drama has litterally swept me off my feet from the start. All the episodes so far, including this one, have been full of action, fun and a turmoil of emotions that are difficult to describe. Lee Min Ho's character is simply like a good angel who is doing his best to protect his loved one and at the same time get revenge for the past without killing anyone...this is brilliant and if it keeps up this way it will definitely become one of the best dramas I have watched so far!

OK, I am now totally puzzled...how can he not yet understand that she is a girl??? In some moments it is totally obvious and he still doesn't get it? I have to say that it is becoming a little bit unrealistic for me although I have to admit that the acting and the story is great.Let's see what happens next..

I'm Sorry, I Love You Episode 13

I think I have never come across such a heartbreaking Korean drama ever since I started watching them. The main lead goes through such unlucky and hurtful events that it is painful also for the watcher. Unfortunately the ending of the story is pretty clear already in this episode but the process of reaching it is truly heartbreaking. Amazing acting in here!

OK, this drama doesn't have any particular angst moments nor does it have any cliffhangers nor does it have particular eye candy, however these are not always necessary to make a good drama. What I am enjoying so much about this is the chemistry between the two leads and what a clever romcom it is as the dialogues are quite deep and also the funny or contrasting moments are all very cleverly done. In this episode we are left with the doubt of whether they will break up or not and we only have three episodes left...I wish this lasted longer!!
