Episodes 7 and 8 came out. At least, we can still entertain ourselves with how messy this show is. The three leads should just ruin each other, with no one ending up as a winner.
I do not know why the writers gave Choi Hee Jin the best lines, especially during the dinner scenes, but reduced her role to a background character. Nevertheless, even if she was merely in the background, she aced her acting.
Also, I don't know if the production even rewatched the scenes they put together. Why would they pick lingering shots of the lead actress that highlighted her inadequacy? I get that she is pretty, but why focus on her face when she is only giving this expression πππ in every scene? It does not add anything to the story. You can't even tell if she is scared, indignant, betrayed, surprised, regretful, or defiant. Does the director secretly hates the FL or something?
Regarding the female lead casting, i saw this comment on reddit which explains it."Apparently the director himself…
It is majorly the director's fault then for choosing the female lead based on that. They should have chosen a better actress, especially when the character is written to be despicable.
Hong Su Zu is having a hard time acting her role. I don't know why they didn't properly direct her either on how to fix her expressions. She only knows how to widen her eyes to vary her expressions.
In the preview for Episodes 7 and 8, I only saw Hee Joo briefly during the dinner scene. Will she have fewer scenes now? I hope the directors didn't kill her off.
Tbh, im so glad disney gave hong su zu a chance , she's not a bad actress, the role is just not it, she did nothing…
She will at least learn from this, but she is definitely bad at the moment. And it's not just because of the role. Even if her character is supposed to be mysterious, there should still be nuances. But what we get is a robot-like portrayal. You don't even get why the two boys fell for her as she doesn't know how to portray a enigmatic and charismatic female lead.
