He is definitely in the top 5 list I had a love/hate relationship with him. I loved his style, confidence, makeup and accessories! I hated his ruthlessness. Mr. All-Eyes-On-Me!

The best first time dramas are ones relatable with good detailed subtitles. I was lucky that my first two asian dramas had subs that explained typical words that sound like part of my mother tongue after years of watching dramas. Eg., oppa, noona, oma, etc., and many others that you naturally pick up with each drama. My beginner's list would have:

Lie to Me
Boys Over Flowers
Coffee Prince
You Who Came from the Stars (Because aliens are relatable ;))
Empress Ki (Got 3 of my family members into dramaland prison with this)

At ep. 14, I have given up hope that this will become closer to the warm romantic comedy like Goong. I pretty much dislike everyone in this drama at this point. The characters are irritating making it hard to root for them or sympathize with them.

Seung Ho has been acting for 17 years, practically from the womb! Bo Gum only has 6 years in front of the camera. He got some lucky breaks very quickly.

I love this, but, it is giving me anger management issues! The bad guys went from zero to wicked in under 60 seconds! I can only yell at the screen! LOL

I know. I'm jealous of the relationship. They go into auto mode being so protective of each other.

Much better than expected and heart warming.

One of my favorite samurai dramas

Ep. 37 convinced me to keep watching and made me wish LuoLuo's parents, the Beast clan king and queen, had more scenes. They were fierce!

There are true friends you can talk the details of your relationships with and they are happy when yours works even when theirs do not. There are pseudo friends like Guan Guan who envy everything you have including your man. These people will take your man to make themselves feel better than you or they will try to undermine your relationship because misery loves company. So, why should you be happy in love when they are home alone feeling superior?

The most annoying character I have seen in a drama! I had no idea she was a performer when I watched it. Her character could barely tie her own shoes without breaking a finger! She did a great job.

it could be. I just love tvN dramas! Some of my faves are Signal, Goblin, Gap Dong, Ho Goo's Love, K2, Misaeng, Liar Game and the Good Wife. I could go on. But, I wont. lol

I recommend these heart warming comedies based on your favorite lists:
1. 5-ji Kara 9-ji Made - I have seen it a few times and never get tired of the romance
2. L-DK - Popular high school boy and non popular girl forced to live together
3. Kiss Me - The Thai version of Itazura Kiss. Characters are more kind hearted. Second male lead not so weird.
4. Fated to Love You - Both Korean and Taiwanese versions are good. Both have the domineering males as in Boss and Me.
5. Please Love the Useless Me - Office scenes with romance and Dean Fujioka
6. Beautiful Gong Shim - Well blended comedy, drama and romance
7. Oh My Venus - Tough boss and persistent female character find romance

His role was too short, but, awesome in Empress of China. Chemistry was very good with Fan Bing Bing. Then, I found out she was his girlfriend! Makes sense!

The movie is deep and well acted. I like it quite a lot. But, it is Not for those looking for a light hearted comedy with extremely clear plot direction from the beginning. lol

She is extremely impressive in the movie Cloud Atlas. I may have to restart my Netflix subscription to watch her in Sense8. LOL

I watched the acclaimed movie Old Boy a couple of times and did not even recognize him until now. I thought he broke out in Gu Family Book and Reply 1994. He is a seasoned veteran.

These spoilers are TOO big, gives away the ending, assuming they are true. I thought it was a one episode spoiler. Wish I could unsee them.
