I'm convinced Kim Bum accepted this role purely so fans would stop asking him to do romcoms lmao

Okay so I just watched episode 2 and why is nobody mention that black American slaves analogy she tried to do…
Thank you for mentioning this!! I agree it was unnecessary. Even though it was purely used as an analogy, there's no reality where an elite private school and its privileged students are at all similar to slavery and enslaved black people in the U.S. The writers could have gotten their point across without saying that. It really left a poor taste in my mouth.

Title When the Stars Gossip Spoiler
I actually really enjoyed this drama despite the flaws throughout it, but the final 4 episodes were so disappointing. Throwing in that ridiculous plotline of Ryong's mom and Eve being mother and daughter almost made it unwatchable for me, but then to make Eve the sacrificial lamb who "saved humanity" by proving fertility and pregnancy were possible in space was just too much. I don't regret watching the drama since there were a lot of good episodes and moments, but the ending definitely spoiled my opinion of it.

Title Frankly Speaking Spoiler
I know a lot of people don't like the switch to the reality dating show and think it strays too far from the concept of the drama, but I think it was the best decision. Ki-Baek knew he wasn't going to get the main announcer position because it was rigged from the start. It was really just a formality and that's why he said those things at the audition. And after his blunders at the award show, what other company is going to take him?? Woo-Ju's show is the perfect comeback. The public gets to see a more genuine side of him: his small kind gestures toward the girl contestant, his relatable awkward and quirky behavior, and his bravery during the horror section (well, that might get cut out lol). His reputation among the crew and other contestants is also improving every day as seen in the latest episode with In-A saying she was charmed by him standing up for Jeong-Heon and another contestant saying everyone thought he was cool for it. Also, not to mention all of the great moments we're getting with Ki-Baek and Woo-Ju, that beach scene during her birthday was so sweet in my opinion. And moving onto Woo-Ju, using Ki-Baek's and Jeong-Heon's first love to make the show more dramatic was definitely a selfish and invasive move, but it wouldn't even be a thing if Cho-Hui didn't accept the offer. And I will agree that Woo-Ju joining the show now doesn't make the most sense, but I'm excited to see what they will do with it. Anyways, I just felt like defending the show a little because I'm really enjoying it so far lol.
