Tout a fait d'accord.

An actor in his twenties wouldn't have been credible as one of the oldest, wisest and the most powerful being in the story (and ZL doesn't look 25, in my opinion, even if she looks indeed younger than her age, but in any case, she fits to her character perfectly as well).

"I just wish that the hero was younger looking" According to his role, his is supposed to be several thousands of years old. He is looking very young for his character's age. :)

It's a light and entertaining romantic xianxia, with no political intrigues, but an incredibly well matched main couple. The story is mainly about the evolution of their relationship.

"What is the magic that is Zhao Liying and Lin Geng Xin?" Good question.. I haven't seen anywhere such a good on screen couple.

I am wondering too.. It would be interesting to see him in more dramas (especially costume dramas). I have been rewatching Princess Agents.. costume dramas are his genre, in modern
dramas, his acting talents can't be shown so well.

True... but it's a "guest role".. it is surprising to see him as a side character.

She is really impressive. In PA too, she did an incredible job.

"A Girl Like Me" is an entertaining, funny romantic costume drama (not Xianxia though).

When the drama was released, I came here every day to read the comments, and it was as much fun as the series itself. I have stayed since then. 😊
