Yeah that was so not in her character to do that. I get some people saying the kids are adults now and leading…
And who cares if the kids are adults now? Loss of a parent (or parents) is PAINFUL. Of course people will still find happiness, like Rona and Seokhoon have found with each other, but the pain of their parent's deaths will always be in their hearts. The longing, the missing. :(
i hate the fact that suryeon killed herself, she rlly didnt have to do that i understand she was in pain but what…
Same... She's giving that pain to her children too... At least her kids don't know it was suicide. Only Logan knows. Her kids will always think it was Seojin who killed their mother, not that their mother 'abandoned' or left them behind by suicide.
- Cheon Seo Jin was selfish to the end. Eunbyeol was ready to forgive her, and was on her way to see her mom.. yet Seo Jin committed suicide. So cruel to her daughter!
- Sooryeon's suicide. My heart breaks for her kids left behind.
- Death of Logan who refused treatment because he lost his will to live after Sooryeon's death. Absolutely heartbreaking.
- Hotel del Luna reference? It's the same tunnel.. Sooryeon and Logan meet up, looks like Sooryeon waited for Logan's arrival, and now they're going to the after life together.
Great beginning but the ending was so rushed.. It didn't feel impactful.
I don't understand Sooryeon's motivations — why did she decide to kill herself and leave her children behind? She's a mom!
And yes, Sooryeon's death was a suicide. She left the GPS tracker on purpose, took off her ring, she threw herself off.
I'm mourning the loss of this drama ending's potential ! It could have ended much better..
Correct me if I'm wrong, LOGAN COMMITTED SUICIDE OR WHAT? How did HE die? Oh God, I wish I hadn't seen those last…
Yeah, jenny's mom commented about how Logan refused treatment because after all he lost all will to live after sooryeons death. But he did manage to help support Rona and create(organize) her performance
I agree with your sentiments.. Not too thrilled about her return, but she too must make a living, learn from her…
It's been a while since I read/watched about the scandal also! I'd forgotten where I heard/read it.
When I went back to find where, I learned I was mistaken about the fact it was an Ex-BF. I'm sorry I remembered incorrectly T-T
It was just a reporter/YouTuber's allegations about Seo Ye Ji. He said 'Seo Ye Ji is someone who needs all attention on her, the style where she must be a Queen' and that '[her personality] is most closest to tvN Drama It's Okay Not To Be Okay.'
I searched up the reporter, 김용호 (Kim, Yong Ho) and I came across news articles from just 10~16 hours ago that he was taken for questioning (with two others) in relation to a YouTube channel called '가세연.'
It looks like they're in for cyber defamation. South Korea's defamation laws allow people to sue for defamation, even if it's about the truth. The focus is on the damage and losses rather than whether or not they spread lies.
Lots of YT comments in support of them, but also lots of comments against them. Looks like they were well-known for reporting about politics, entertainment industry, etc. :X

I'm not excusing what she did. Her character is no secret - looking back at interviews, behind-the-scene scenes, and talk shows - it's obvious she makes A LOT of people uncomfortable.
As for SK's societal issues - can't argue with you there. Even if they're progressing, changes are still slow. Rich/Famous people get away with a slap on the hand. Netizens' efforts to 'cancel' her doesn't work. And she still has fans who defend her. K-Entertainment will still hire her (as they have here).
Ultimately, we'll continue to see her. We can only hope she 'grows up' and becomes a better person. Some people don't change, but others do.
They better not do a 10 min recap on ep 14 like they did ep 13 and 12
Right? Hahaha 10 min recap (or showing things in a different POV but no actual story progression) certainly has been a theme for the last few episodes T____T pls writer y u do this
Hope it's not anyone we've met so far in this town

She was lovely in her other recent kdrama too (Devil Judge)
Oh geez..
The name sounded similar to Yoon Hee but it wasn't Yoon Hee's name.
Similar sounding names like: Estelle and Estella... or Tina and Nina... or Hyun Soo and Joon Soo. Sounds similar but are very different.
