Those scenes also made me feel uncomfortable, especially as her "fake" assaults became more serious (i.e. blood). I understand what the writer/kdrama was going for... but this sort of violence is kinda what we see in Anime or cartoons, not real life portrayals of romance :/

Right? Not all 30 year olds have the same personality. Some retain their playfulness and are easily excited/cheery at the little things. Hyejin is like a child at heart!

Noooo :( I hope k-entertainment industry isn't following after western's seasonal concept.. It's one of the reasons I love watching kdrama. Sometimes seasons drag on too long..!

I enjoyed reading your perspective – got me thinking a lot.

We all have different points of view; the way we perceive the same thing (i.e. Yumi's Cells kdrama) in different ways, the way we relate (or not) to certain characters, the differences of values or drives in life, etc... It's really interesting to read different POV, even though I don't necessarily agree with them. I hope no one is discouraged from posting their opinions here, even if they are negative or speak critically about the series!!

And who cares if the kids are adults now? Loss of a parent (or parents) is PAINFUL. Of course people will still find happiness, like Rona and Seokhoon have found with each other, but the pain of their parent's deaths will always be in their hearts. The longing, the missing. :(

Same... She's giving that pain to her children too... At least her kids don't know it was suicide. Only Logan knows. Her kids will always think it was Seojin who killed their mother, not that their mother 'abandoned' or left them behind by suicide.

Yeah.. it made no sense to me why she would commit suicide. the sooryeon i know would never leave her kids behind like that

- Cheon Seo Jin was selfish to the end. Eunbyeol was ready to forgive her, and was on her way to see her mom.. yet Seo Jin committed suicide. So cruel to her daughter!

- Sooryeon's suicide. My heart breaks for her kids left behind.

- Death of Logan who refused treatment because he lost his will to live after Sooryeon's death. Absolutely heartbreaking.

- Hotel del Luna reference? It's the same tunnel.. Sooryeon and Logan meet up, looks like Sooryeon waited for Logan's arrival, and now they're going to the after life together.

Great beginning but the ending was so rushed.. It didn't feel impactful.

I don't understand Sooryeon's motivations — why did she decide to kill herself and leave her children behind? She's a mom!

And yes, Sooryeon's death was a suicide. She left the GPS tracker on purpose, took off her ring, she threw herself off.

I'm mourning the loss of this drama ending's potential ! It could have ended much better..

Yeah, jenny's mom commented about how Logan refused treatment because after all he lost all will to live after sooryeons death. But he did manage to help support Rona and create(organize) her performance
