Sun Woo annoys the everloving shit out of me. I hate the trope of a dude who's a womanizer and becomes interested…
Yea.. the way he kept trying to initiate skinship (touching her shoulder, putting his arm/hand on the back of HER chair, etc) when she clearly is repulsed by his initiatives lol
i skipped almost everything without the second leads the show is barely progressing and just quirky comedy. it's…
Hope so also! I also found myself skipping or increasing playback speed on some scenes lol
It makes sense they're trying to get us all to bond with the characters before things get serious, life/death situation becomes more REAL, etc... After all, these two characters need to get to know one another more beforehand.
I’m so lost lol What did she realize? The woman’s son didn’t want to leave his mother. In the same way her own mom doesn’t want to leave her? It’s love right? They both don’t want to leave their loved ones behind, so they’re choosing to stay as ghosts?
There is another god who also like that, Mago in Hotel Del Luna and Samshin in Goblin so she either one or both.…
But the deities in Hotel Del Luna & Goblin were not cruel. Even the one in The King: Eternal Monarch was kind to the leads. Hoping this one will be similar, and NOT like Chuck (Supernatural) where the deity gets upset at his "toys" not acting the way he wants them to.
I hope the god/deity girl doesn't turn into someone like Chuck from Supernatural. She keeps making obscure commentary that foreshadows a unhappy ending for our leads :I
Do you think SSR will keep living in her penthouse at the end? I hope she does :)
Stronghearted individual, for sure. She (and her children) went through so much abuse in that building. I'm surprised she would want to stay but at the same time, understand why she claims it as her own
I have always said,Koreans and the Chinese have the slowest reaction time.If you watch a lot of their dramas,in…
Well, fight-or-flight response aside, I assume many scenes are "slowed down."
So it seems like a good 5 seconds, but it may have actually been 1 or 2 seconds where... not even the most athletic individual with top notch reaction speeds could do anything!
The plot is simple and superficial, I think it's not much for playing for main leads in this scenario. So acting…
You expressed my thoughts exactly. I feel as though they're trying to force "angst" or some kind of dilemma that.. I don't see. :I They're unnecessarily drawing it out~ Example: They show us through the characters' actions, THEN reiterate it by having them monologue it to us again lol
The only drama here is the fight of two wills (point of views).
Can you imagine how many actors would have to step down for behavior in Hollywood those gossip shows make tons…
Well yeah lol, no one has high standards for Hollywood celebrities or expect them to be 'role models' of society. In Korea, people in the limelight are expected to be a good example and maintain good 'image' (I say image, cause we all know Korean celebrities probably have a bunch going on behind closed doors). Korean netizens are something else too.. they're the worst of all trolls on the internet, imo, and have even bullied people to death. It's crazy high expectations and criticisms over there!
Seo Ye Ji however, got rebuked for her her behavior on interviews, other live broadcasting shows (i.e. variety, or talk shows) (ex: rude behavior to elders/seniors and also to comedians) and behind-the-scenes that reveal A LOT about her character. Her personal life and personality aside, she is a great actress.
Korean public don't want to see her on screen though. Unfortunately, broadcasting companies listen to public opinion a lot (they can't risk losing money). Despite Ye Ji's acting skills, it might take some time before Korean audience will accept her again.
The dramas that follow are different enough, but have similar underlying themes, characterizations, or cherry-picked ideas
I guess HaNa joined the team. Now they’re solving crimes and putting criminals in jail.. while slightly bending rules!
(Personally thought her breaking glass on his head was overkill.. she already subdued him with her punch and awesome roundhouse kick! O_o )
Fairly satisfying
He doesn't respect boundaries at all...

At least that’s how I understood it TT
