there's a bit cultural reference here..thai ppl call all types of oranges as "Som" which simply translates…
Imagine watching a Thai show made by a Thai team and getting this aggressively elitist over their own language and culture. When Oranges Fall is a translation for international distribution, but forcing rigid English definitions onto a native Thai production isn't 'having high standards'.. it’s just cultural blindness.
The world doesn't revolve around Western linguistic expectations.

In nearly all thai series you wont see underage characters kiss.( I have never seen it happen). Its just a cultural…
ohh.. so it's about the age of the characters.. and not the actors..?

Today’s the Thai Queen’s birthday and the TV channel is airing Her Highness’s documentary. Thus the delay.

As a producer, I have to address the glaring narrative dissonance in "When Oranges Fall". When a series…
there's a bit cultural reference here..
thai ppl call all types of oranges as "Som" which simply translates to "orange"
(i am not thai, but from a neighbouring country, and in our language too- we have our own word for mandarins, which also simply translate to orange)

one more thing, the word "orange" is always an umbrella term, with mandarins, tangerines, maltas etc falling under it
