The first drama that has ever disappointed me so much. I hated Seako-san so much that it was ruining the drama for me. Adultery is a big no-no for me so to see her lead him on as long as she did just made me detest her (more than any other character in all the dramas I've watched). Then it didn't get anywhere until the last couple episodes. He really should have ended up with Erena because she was the only truly good character. Kaoruko, although I was going to root for her, her personality rubbed me the wrong way.

The whole plot as I got into the show started to piss my off. I thought it was going to be more of a drama about him getting over her through chocolate and the people who he meets. But then episode after episode he kept going after a girl who was married.

Sadly I found this to be one of the worst dramas I've watched, the worst drama Matsumoto has been in (that I've seen), and if I could get back the past couple of days that I spent watching this, I would.

This sounds like Korea's White Christmas. Anyone know if it's based off or going to be similar to it?

Loved him since ROOKIES (even if his part was small). I've watched quite of a bit of his work and always smile like an idiot when I see he'll be in something new. He's one of the few Japanese actors I can remember the name of (I have so many favorite Japanese actor I can't remember all of them) which goes to show how far up he is on my list.

Because of school I have not been watching as much but once I'm out I will definitely be watching the drama's of his that I've missed!

I liked it, although I did have a problem when the characters would talk to Zhi Xiao. A lot of the time they would be talking to him but not looking at him so every time that happened I would be screaming at the screen "Turn around, he can't hear stupid, turn around so he can read your lips!"

Those are some bad ones but I would say the mom from Secret Garden is the worst I've come across. Even at the end she wouldn't accept their marriage but she would accept the grandchildren. What a wench. I would never have let her meet them until she apologized and acted civil to me.

Gokusen was my first drama ever. It's what sucked me into the world of Japanese dramas and later on Korean and Taiwanese. It's still in my book the best drama I've seen. I wish I had a teacher as awesome as Yankumi. Although kind of repetitive in the seasons, each had it's own way of keeping me hooked. I have watched every season twice and have plans to watch them again.

I have seen Liar Game and loved it and loved Shota so Jotei is going on my list. I have not seen Life so it's now on my list.

Thank you for the recommendations!

I feel like I have to add one of my own. Lee Ki Woo as Choi Kang Hyuk from Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. I mean the lead was an annoying, needy, bitching, spoiled brat, who could barely take care of himself. (He never won me over, I still hate him (the character).) And then there's Kang Hyuk, the almighty pillar, the adorable sleeping puppy, the one who never asked her of anything, the one who loved her without pushing it on her. He had my heart from the moment he showed on my screen. I actually hate Flower Boy Raymun Shop because Kang Hyuk didn't get the girl. I mean, who would rather have a relationship with a whiny, spoiled brat over an adorable loving puppy? Not Me! All I can say is Kang Hyuk can come and fall asleep in my house any day.

Although I have never seen the Taiwanese one (and probably never will) I can say for sure that my favorite was Hana Yori Dango. The Japanese version, which I watched first) kept me interested and made me love all the characters (besides the assholes). The Korean one however, I found I was forcing myself to watch the next episode after the 5th one. Although I loved the actors, the main actress annoyed and pissed me off a lot. She could never stand up for herself as compared to the Japanese main. I actually found myself liking the side couple more than the main couple. The reason I probably will never watch the Taiwanese version is because the Korean version put me off of it so much.

If I were to ever recommend this drama I would recommend the Japanese version before a thought of the Korean one entered my head.

I commend Gong Yoo for being the one to actually bring this into movie form. If it was not for Gong Yoo reading the book and seeking out the author this movie wouldn't have been made and the happens of the true events might not have been known to people. This is a horrible happening that should be known to people everywhere.
